Looks like I'm gonna again have to roleplay my previously identifying as human ME:A protag as trans-quarian by always wearing a helmet just like I did with Shep. I doubt we'll get more options for the protaganist to be whoever they were born to be, like removing/ lengthening digits, prosthetic hip replacements or doglegs. Hopefully we get more red hawt action like this, at least.

Of course they aren't, trans people can identify to their gender. 

 

But people also aren't tigers or wolves in the end, they are human beings. And this is a guy who has furry friends saying this. 

 

So what are you saying? It is ok for a transgender person to identify with a different gender but it is creepy and gross for a trans-species individual to identify as something other than the species they were born with?

 

Try telling a transgender person they aren't a real man or a woman and see where it gets you, but by some double standard it is ok to tell me I am not a quarian?
