Here's the ticket.. I've played RPGs since FF1 and after forking over $59.00 for DA:O I was expecting a well written game and DA:O met 90% of those expectations. DA:A is a fun game but, lacks several things. One glaring mistake is making Velanna a grumpy Elf even after she learns the truth about her sister. There is a lot of WTH moments in DA:O but, DA:I ($65.00) has far more. then should be allowed and that falls to the writers.
We know the wardens is a neutral group by BW writers own words but, here we go getting into Dwarven politics. Why would the gate guard let a exile princess or brand pass the gates when its against Orzammar policy? Being a Grey is no excuse since there is another grey in the party. The Dwarves wasn't worried about the blight-a surface problem they say.. And once either one enters they are treated badly, talked down to and still have to jump through hoops to put a king on the throne.
Both DA:O and DA;I could have been much better in several ways.
If DA:4 follows the same pattern then that will be the last.
