Something like this as a new LI please
Looks basically like an asari.
Something like this as a new LI please
I would like to see not just new aliens but also new ways of the current racing acting. So for example, a bloodthirsty Salarians, or diplomatic krogan even I would love to see Asari who can't use biotics and hates biotics. Even the unseen races would be cool to see; Raloi, Arthenn, Densorin and etc. I don't want to just see humans, Krogans, Salarians and so forth.
whatever that is, my body is readyLooks basically like an asari.
Another MEA LI

I'm definitely up for plant people, but what's "gritty" about Groot? And the last time BioWare went "gritty" we got a series of dark corridors and a crew of daddy-issue-havin' betas.
Like, edgier. More "alien" than just a reskinned human being. Sorry, I couldn't think of a word that said that better.

Weird enough, I always thought that Legion had similarities with Xenomorphs .... the head maybe ... ?
Anyways, for Xenomorphs, I'll pass ~They are my childhood nightmares...
But yeah for Predators !

Yeah, Legion has a subliminal H.R. Giger look to him when I think about it. Probably a coincidence but still.
Yeah I think this guy is pretty hot myself.

Maybe something that doesn't even have legs or arms.
Without arms or legs, you are reduced to using your vocal chords. You might have to hurl insults to defeat/discourage your existential foes!
Either this, or use Worf's Klingon 'guile.'
Last MEA female alien LI. This is when you first meet her. And she morphs into her true form for the sex scene,

I'd like a low-tech Barbarian/Viking race that looks like a humanoid Bison, a bit like Krogan in size/build. They prefer living on their dusty dry planet in their clans and keeping their ancient traditions alive. In my vision they haven't quite joined the space exploring races and try to avoid advanced tech as much as possible however due to recent invasions/attacks they have nominated 3 warriors from different clans to represent them in the council.

looks like Jabba the Hut's cousin
Here, some ideas
Create some epic creatures. There was incredible moment where we were talking with a giant Leviatan.
Alien with a body builded from the pure energy.

Alien from a planet with red forests and plants

Inteligent alien. Talking by telepathy

Alien from the "water planet". With a view lands but very wet and full of green. But mainly with life underwater.

Ancient civilisation

And some uninteligent breed

Blindsight was an excellent science fiction exploration of the concepts of intelligences vs. consciousness as well as being one of the few narratives I've seen (though I will admit to not having a huge library of experience) to depict an 'alien' intelligence without resorting to the whole "Beyond our comprehension" copout either. I would like to see BioWare look towards concepts like this when creating new aliens for Mass Effect: Andromeda:
Spoiler
Interesting. We usually have the similar ideas about these things. But I don't think "beyond our comprehension" is a copout. Even in the example you posted, the point is we can't imagine such a being, or anything about how might act or think no matter how much we try, because it's so fundamentally different from us. And if this creature has no awareness, I assume that includes self-awareness, in which case how does the concept of a "threat" make any sense? Or indeed the concept of kin, of "like me" or "not like me" when "me" itself is not supported?
What follows also assumes too much similarity in how audio or radio waves would be perceived and understood, how the creature could live in an ecosystem similar to those on Earth, with predators, prey symbiotic relationships etc. None of these are given, and it is far more likely that none of it would correlate.
Of course that doesn't mean that all our fiction has to be rubber forehead aliens. We're on the same page about wanting more "alien" aliens.

POWER OVERWHELMING!
I like your images though. I'd like to see some similar stuff as well. Or perhaps something like these fellows:

Anybody?

Ok
Wow... I would love to see something like this. Small or big, either would be amazing.

Well the rest of book does go into more detail on how the scramblers operate, and helps provide a lot more context to their motivations.
And sorry, I should have clarified more. It's not so much that the 'beyond your comprehension' trope is a copout, so much as the reliance of that nomenclature to act as a catch-all for anything and everything. For example, look at the Reapers, the writers really liked to play up the whole "We are beyond your comprehension Shepard" bit when in reality they were actually very comparable to our understanding; and depending on who you ask, had a very moronic reason behind their existence. The difference between the Reapers and the Scramblers of Blindsight, is that the scramblers are beyond our comprehension (like you said), or at least so alien to our way of, well practically everything that they might as well be. The writing of that novel explores and shows how and why they are so foreign to us, the Reapers' whole shtick in ME's writing was: "Beyond your comprehension. Such mystery. Much Depth."

To be fair, that failure was all on ME3 and its "yo dawg" logic. Or really on the writers afters ME2 because it seems they always wanted to make the Reapers misunderstood saviors of some kind. But as initially presented in ME1, the Reapers really should've been beyond our comprehension. I've linked to this post so many times I probably owe the author royalties, but here's a speculation on the processing power of a Reaper. There's just no way we're comprehending that.
Clearly the trope can be used as a copout and that does happen when it turns out it was really a "motivations TBD" placeholder like in Mass Effect. I was just pointing out it doesn't have to be. Whether it is a copout or not has more to do with writer intent than the features of the trope itself.

Interesting, must be full of weird stuff having a conversation with this alien babe.

You aren't too far off considering this is Pizza the Hutt from Spaceballs.
