Some random ideas for new npc races/species/foes (maybe for sidequests or planet lore). Just for the fun because i'm bored. And i can't draw - so just text.
Name: Blobxil
Homeworld: Xench VI
Description: A liquid species which evolved in the lower atmosphere of a gas giant. Individuals are small and unintelligent, but they are capable of merging together into intelligent entities of enormous size. If they get too hot, they have been known to explode > For the fiery tornado planet.
Name: Rocanan
Homeworld: Roca
Description: A race of eccentric creatures with delicate folds of skin on their heads, which they use to detect sound and powerful mandibles. They prefer not to leave their homeworld and use holographic representations of themselves to explore the galaxy instead. Through cybernetic implants behind their eyes, they are able to record and share their experiences and memories.
Name: Oofahi
Homeworld: Hexafania
Description: A race of amphibian creatures. They are governed by a strict network of merchants and very selfrightous politicians. They keep other aliens as pets and force them to fight eachother for the purposes of entertainment. They travel the galaxy punishing other species for their misdeeds. After observing a civilization for a 50 year trial period, they pronounce judgement on them in the name of the greater good. The verdict is usually 'guilty'.

Homeworld: Melnaris
Description: A race of insectoids o plant like creatures. They consider standing still to be both an art-form and a sport. They believe that the universe is a physical manifestation of God, and that gathering information about the universe is the only way to become closer to God. They communicate via telepathy. They once had wings, but they became rudimentary and disappeared. They fear heat and hate pollution in any way possible.

Homeworld:Varalore
Description: They consider humanity to be an inferior form of life, but the Milky Way races are considered „interesting“ for observing the mutual reaction between emotions, choices & consequences. Another interest is the system of death and the system of giving birth. Elbore are pure energy beings and can cross anything. Time doesn't exist for them either. They just exist. They think in very rational ways and consider emotions, birth or the death as flaws.
