ME1: 3
ME2: 3
ME3: 4

My first ME game was the ME3 demo. After finishing my first ME3 play-through I immediately went and purchased ME1 and ME2, plus all of the DLC.

This is basically me, although I haven't played all the DLC. Only because it is such a pain in the a$$ to pay for and download DLC on the xbox.

I know I did at least 7 Shepards I think for the trilogy. At the moment I'm thinking about doing a playthrough for each class for ME:A.

Let's number of playthroughs starting from ME:1, ME:2, and ME:3

ME:1; about 6 complete one for each class and 3 incomplete

ME: 2; about 6 complete and no incompletes cause competionist

ME: 3 about 3 complete cause ending was boring in most situation DLC was great.

ME:A To the point where I can talk in-sink with the characters.

I restarted ME3 last night and I had forgotten how great it is. I sincerely believe it's the best out of the trilogy.

How many playthroughs for me? You say?

did you know that the over nine thousand was actually a typo and it was originally over 8000?

Well now you do. :wizard:

In my personal opinion, ME3 is easily the best game out of the trilogy. I have a feeling a lot more would agree if not for how strongly so many felt about the ending.

I did know this actually! The problem is Funimation is an American-based translation company in the US and they did not receive translated scripts from TOEI Animation. This isn't the only mis-translation either, but it's probably the most famous.

I think it is a pretty good game until around Thessia then it starts to go down hill quickly in quality. I wish they had taken another 6 months or a year to put some more love into the final act. Story wise I think the original is the best, and combat wise I prefer 2 over 3.

Why? Do something different in the game that you haven't done before. Instead of choosing this side, choose that side. Or don't use an interrupt. Don't romance anyone. Don't talk to anyone. Avoid doing this mission or that mission. If you haven't yet, go for the low ems playthrough.

I don't know. It's just all the errand running and planet scanning which made it boring this time around but I could perhaps skip some of it and not do it as you said, go for the low ems. Yeah... I just might do that. Great idea Mike, I'm always so back and forth in my decisions lol xD

Look at it this way. Avoid all missions that don't have to be completed, mostly side missions and dlc, and just do enough missions to move the story forward. Do not scan any planets or complete any missions on the Citadel. Depending on your playthrough and galactic readiness, your ems might be low enough to have both squadmates killed on the beam by Harbinger. Before starting Chronos, look at you ems. If you want it higher to get this ending or that ending, do a few side missions or dlc that you ignored to raise  your ems.

Good idea. It's a while since I've played it so I couldn't remember what to do exactly to get the different endings. This way I'll also avoid the boring stuff.

Just to add. If you decide you just want your ems low enough to have both squadmates killed on the beam run, ems has to be between 1750-2000.

Click on the link, Did you know?, in my signature for different scenes and dialogue you will see and hear if your ems is low enough. It will also tell you how to have a particular squadmate be the one to reach out with their hand just before being killed by Harbinger

I played the series for the first time in the summer of '14.

ME1: Four and a half times so far. The "half" was when I fired up save from Virmire. I didn't feel up to dealing with the Mako this time.

ME2: Six times, with two of them modified versions of the ME1 play sessions. Meaning that I have fired up gibbed before to change around some plot flags, such as romance options or face/hair.

ME3: Four, with the fifth one going at the speed of cold molasses. I'm not bored, just busy here as of late.

ME = 8, ME2 = 4 ME3 = 1

I was so disgusted with ME3 ending I played it once and then lost all interest. Waiting till many others complete the next game, before I decide if it is a ME or ME3

I like ME1 but the way the weapons constantly overheats annoys me too much.
