I'd rather they avoided face mapping voice actors. It is no longer necessary, and they can create fairly detailed and realistic-looking characters in frostbite without it. 

 

The money that would otherwise be spent paying celebrity actors for their likeness would be best spent elsewhere in development.

That's generally why they get the likeness of relative unknowns so they don't have to pay an arm and a leg. That certainly was the case with Yvonne when they picked her up originally as well as the actress Liara's face is based off of and even male Shepard who is a model. I seriously doubt BioWare would probably go for anybody too high profile. That being said, I don't remember a time in BioWare games when they weren't basing their companions off of either models or actors/actresses. I doubt BioWare is going to change their tune even with Frostbite 3.

I totally agree with you. This thread is just basically harmless fun because BW would never ever go with these choices (the majority of them) anyway.

Seeing as how everyone is obviously playing as a female in Andromeda, let me start things off the right way (I'm being facetious, calm down).   This guy is literally an IRL bishounen.  If he voiced the male protagonist, not only would I rescind my commitment to not supporting Andromeda, I would go out and buy three copies at all once.  Because Holy mother of Jenova, listening to every word he uttered in a cut scene would be like falling slowly into a Jacuzzi filled with bubbles.  My eternal ire against Bioware could only be tempered by his handsome and nuanced voice.

 

Did I also mention I have a girlfriend?  I do have a girlfriend btw.  We make love every night!
