Hi, I'm currently going for this and I'm wondering if i can just wait until I get to Skyhold, with the appropriate power requirement, to begin Wicked eyes... and just enlisting Iron Bull, Viviene and Sera just before beginning the quest?  When do their recruitment quests disappear?  I always seem to have issues keeping Sera and Viviene happy under normal conditions as their approval triggers seem to contradict one another, and i fear I will lose one of them.  Especially Viviene when it comes to recruiting Cole in Skyhold.  I plan on making the mages equal partners.  This really pisses Viviene off and Iron Bull iirc.

 

I plan on making a save before beginning the quest and then reverting back once the trial is completed.  I also plan turning the trial off once the achievement pops.

Vivienne and IB are not an issue as they never leave regardless of their approval. Sera, Blackwall, Cole and Dorian can leave. Sera and Blackwall are fairly easy to gain approval with, and if you ally with mages Cole and Dorian approve.

Cole is really the only one that you have to worry about and you have the right strategy for that: side with the Mages and ally with them. For Sera, just don't recruit her until just before WEWH, like you said.
