Do lower level weapons have more recoil ?

Yes. Also less ammo and lower damage, but with more weight. With the really good weapons one notices the ammo limitation most - by which I mean that a Claymore I or BW I still kill things pretty well - but it makes a huge difference with the middle-tier weapons like Tempest and Phaeston (for example) or with those that have a lot of intrinsic recoil, like the Hurricane and Typhoon.

Take Hard Cover to reduce Recoil!

In general, there is no need for an other SMG no (except you don't wanna care for Ammo and you have a high level Collector SMG).

I don't believe PS3 has the same issue with shockwave as PC.

Everything is fine with Shockwave an PS3.

Btw.: this is the first no Warp Adept I have seen.

Nooooooooo, don't say that! Still have a Hurricane 1 and now I hate this stupid store even more. <_<

I've never heard / read that the weapon level effect more than Damage / Clip / Magazine / Weight. Are you sure?

The Hurricane is a gun that exists within Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer Mode, I can say that with an unbiased certainty. But if the N-7 Hurricane can talk the talk, can it also walk the walk? Yes. Yes it can.

That is one possible way (to load mods).
Alternatively I suggest u play without those mods, and learn to control the beast(yes it takes some concentration and u might be mistaken for a noob whilst doing it- but who cares?)

A) Initially u would find that aiming for the crotch result in a zip hole line ending with a headshot. Gr8, mooks dead with 6 bullets.
B ) load it on a cqc character, where the enemy fills ur screen.
C) later u will find urself adjusting aim whilst firing/recoil. That's what I meant with pressing the nose down.

Learning to handle it without mods, frees up a slot for powers/ better weapon damage.

Recoil is affected by weight.
At least in our resource library only weapon damage/ weight are adjusted for L1-LX.
So probably indirectly, a lighter hurricance result in a slighty less recoil.

I can try to learn to tame it without mods. I indeed I would very much like to be able to use my SMS Amp V instead of my Barrage II.

Well someone's late to the party.

As you didn't quote anyone, I assume your talking my the original post.

I started this game a few months back, I have probably 200h of game. So I'm not that late. Could be more if the game decided to give me other Ultra Rare instead of this one.
