Ok i agree on that but they can give them amnesia to forget how of a special snowflake they are and they are the only elves who have a good body!
What amnesia.... Like in ME2? Too many games apply amnesia as an excuse to discover the world from the beginning. I do not think it's a good idea. Used too many times already.

Wait wait wait .... What? Where did you get that info? Just out of curiosity. If in your opinion sentinels do not remember Mythal, how do you think Abelas remembered what was Mythal at her fullest and that Fen'Harel did not kill her...............
As much as i would love to play an ancient elf, i don't think there is a place for an ultra-powerful mega being in contemporary Thedas. I mean, that would make more sense going against Solas if you were an old friend or enemy, but it's a bit of a giant leap of logic. Plus, such a powerful character with an important plot would likely have to be the only main PC, and there are people who do not play elves. For a variety of reasons.
I'm still on the Inquisitor for PC band wagon.
But a game where i could play the downfall of the elves, choose to be Solas' friend or enemy and see how the Thedas i know and love was made? Yes please, I would play that. Actually, that sounds like a fascinating game for the Lore fans and i would like to have it haha

They remember Mythal, but they don't know Mythal as she was in her own body with her full power

In skyrim i can with an Altmer elf sent to spy Skyrim and ruin the empire! I would like to have the option with DA4 help Solas to tear down the veil since it will kill others but not me! lol
An Ancient elf protagonist should be practical for Bioware,at least they will save money on the hairstyles.
Let's have an ancient elf, ancient drawf, ancient Qunari and ancient human
