but what if.....your ship is actually 50 years old but with just a new coat of paint and a bunch of recycled parts? i wouldnt blame anyone for wanting an upgrade

Agreed. NASA using some of their spaceships past their expiry-dates caused many accidents in the past.
But maybe if aliens made it it'd be OK, cuz reasons. And space magic.

SSV Yet another generic pile of scrap.
Sounds like a good name to me. Really not worth the effort. Playing a game where no one can name the ship in conversation is not worth it IMO. Lines like I will see you on the Normandy will all be see you at the "nameless" ship.

That's not fair. You're excluding me from naming my ship.
It's fine when I typed keep it clean I meant the chat. Talking about this concept I wanted us to not be mean or offensive to other chat users. The name of your ship is free in terms of the rules of keeping it clean. So if you want to call it the SSV Players Log its fine. I do think it is possible since in Fallout 4 had the character Codsworth who would say your characters name.
