With the ongoing discussions about OP characters, this penishead looking character is a beast when equipped properly, especially if you have a teammate with DC or Reave. 66653 with PA IV and Warp IV is total destruction on Plats IMHO. I typically run with Piranha, Wraith, Raider, or Lancer. I'm a bit squishy because shield is only 1050 IIRC, but just such a satisfying character to play. Warp, shot, clusters = dead brute. I have tried Cyclonic instead of PA, but it is pointless. Also, really strange is the fact that I hardly ever see anyone play him or other Batarians for that matter. By far, they have become my favorite faction to play

BatSent has become my goto PUG character when starring out. Very diverse character, one of the few characters I can use all weapon types on and still be just above scrub level. I of course can't PUG 1st game with Saber Ghost or Wraith/Claymore Sexbot on the off chance I run into a BSNER and get publicly shamed for the rest of my Mass Effect days.

One of the character I see the least in PUGs. I can't say that he is among my favorites (I don't like grenades globally), but I also can't deny that the Warp / Cluster combo is beasty. There's a popular video where a batdept kills a gold Brute with a Warp / Claymore shot / Cluster sequence, but I can't remember who uploaded it.

I'm pretty addicted to some sort of side-dodge/hop/roll. I have a tough time remembering I can't stare a banshee straight in the face on open ground and be confident I'll win on a kit I can't side-dodge with. Too many warp balls taken in the teeth or something. >.> <.<

 

With virtually any kit that can side-whatever I know I'm basically invincible.

 

It's been a while since I've taken out a Batarian though so might have to try. I have the next week off, so should get in a few good games.

True, the lack of dodge can be a pain, but like all other factions in this game, it is an acquired taste. Took me forever to actually start playing them because of my hatred from the trilogy, but once I stuck my toe in the water, I have been hooked

OP, you can't kill a brute with just one warp/shot/cluster combo with the guns you mentioned. You need the High Lord

Actually no, it's not. In general, lash is very not required for maximum effectiveness, and almost counter productive, I'd say Just use warp, clusters and your gun...

The only thing I don't like about the Slasher is that I use the BatSol so much, I get conditioned to how much fire he can take before you need to get into cover.  Not having Blade Armor makes a huge difference for the Slasher.  I often go down multiple times in the early waves until I get used to it.  Same thing happens when I use the Turian Soldier, because I use the TSent so much.

 

Otherwise, the Slasher is freaking awesome and probably the most unappreciated class on the game.

Batslasher has a lot of potential to be really good, when playing it recently, I was able to warp + cluster grenade a ravager on gold and it would outright kill all their armour in that single combo without having to shoot it once or have any assist from teammates, truly scary damage.

 

It's an impressive feat IMO from a biotic caster grenade class aside from other kits can duplicate that amount of damage to a ravager in a short amount of time such as for example a geth infiltrator with a Javelin X and the fact that an adept can come pretty close to it, is pretty cool.

BatSlash is a great kit, but not as dynamic as the DrellDept and not as unique as BatSol, so those 2 kits steal a lot of his thunder.

Phantoms and a-bomb trolling require Lash, my love, and the phantoms appreciate the additional penetration.

It's odd but I never see bad batarian pugs

 

That's proably something to do with the fact that I see few bararian pugs...
