What terrible fate awaits the Pathfinder?

Shepard: Dies defeating the Reapers
Hawke: Dies in the Fade in most people's games
Inquisitor: Hand is cut off and becomes handicapped
What is your guess of what happens to the Pathfinder? My guess is they get spine damage and have to be in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives.

Warden is looking for a cure, and can have a happy ending based on your choices in the first game
Shepard can live, die or become a god based on the ending you pick
Hawke dies if you choose to sacrifice him/her but lives if you choose to save him/her
Inquisitor loses a hand yeah, but doing so saves their life
It's all a matter of how you play the game. They may have a bad ending but they may also have a good ending.

Their is no good ending for Shepard, dont even start with that breathing scene nonsense. Hes dead.
I'm sorry, did you get confirmation from the devs that despite the scene clearly showing him breathing, he's dead? No? Did they go through all that effort in adding that extra scene of Shepard breathing only to kill him anyways? Man, what a twist did not see that coming. Seriously though, he's alive till they state he's dead.

Shepard is alive, varying reasons that cannot be refuted point to this. Most notably the extra scene of him breathing, regardless of your games world state that scene is Canon until the devs state otherwise. Your opinion on the matter is moot and inconsequential, you are not a dev and you hold no authority on the matter. Simply because you want him to be such does not make it such.
So again shepard is alive and that's the bottomline, why? Because I said so.
Regarding the rest? The wardens death solely depends on the world state, my warden remains alive and all powerful with morgy-poo and seeks a cure. Thus he lives. Again Hawke is a world state condition and you have no proof the majority killed him off, so stfu until you bring validated proof on that matter via statistics to the table. My Hawke lives as does his sexy wench Isabella. Quizzy merely looses a hand and is still a very powerful warrior(warrior as in a general term not class term. The mark does not make him powerful, his power is all him.) So him being handicapped is unlikely especially if a mage.
As for your question, probably a lot of typical save the day quest while attempting to defeat some big baddie named frank.

How do you explain stone rubble around Shepard when there was none in the decision chamber?
You mean the bits of the platform and the area around the power conduit with the scifi-looking girders in them?
Unless you want to dismiss the epilogue as some sort of fever dream narrated by Hackett, you can clearly see that the damaged Citadel is still in orbit and eventually repaired.

Don't forget Revan. Kept alive for 300 years just to be constantly tortured. All friends and loved ones long dead. Goes crazy and gets killed by illiterate 12 year olds.
Revan also got a forced gender change operation and turned into a scruffy white dude. With a mullet.

My Warden lived and is finding a cure so he can live happily ever after with Leliana.
My Shepard lived because he's a badass and chose High EMS Destroy.
My Hawke lived because he needs to make pirate babies with Isabela.
My Inquisitor.... what??? Spoilers??? I didn't even play Trespasser yet you scumbag!!!
My Pathfinder will be impaled by a reaper claw only to wake up in the real world and realize the entire Mass Effect universe was just a dream.

Because obviously Shepard never left Earth in the first place, and all that surreal criap happening on the "Citadel" isn't real anyway ^^ I mean it's basically a gameshow (choose green, red, blue or leave now with the mystery-box!) hosted by a little ghost-kid. Nobody will ever convince me that this has any basis in reality
That kind of thinking is thé only way Ican somehow deal with the ending at least.

Shepard did not survive an explosion on the Citadel that would have depressurized the place and sucked out the oxygen, then fall to Earth and wake up in rubble.
Nice try. BioWare’s Tully Ackland has already comfirmed long ago that Shepard lives in High EMS destroy.

I certainly don't want to revitalize the dreadful "Indoctrination Theory," but I don't believe every aspect of it was patently false. The entire Citadel sequence at the end of the game didn't make any sense. In fact, the moment Shepard was hit by Harbinger's beam, everything went nuts. All of the sudden, I'm just supposed to believe Shepard is teleported to some strange part of the Citadel that looks like part-collector ship, part-Shadow broker ship, and then TIM shows up randomly?
Not to mention, how did Anderson get on board? Then when he "dies," you notice how Shepard looks down at his/her arm that is fresh with new blood? I don't think any of that sequence was truly "real," at least not in the way that people think it was. It seemed like nothing more than symbolism. There was just too much convenience with the plot moving forward. I think Shepard lived because I don't think he/she ever was on the Citadel to start. I think it was entirely a mind battle, similar to how the protheans were able to communicate complex ideas and memories through memory shards and beacons. I think this was a trait Shepard learned all the way back in ME1 and only he/she was able to master it.

I'm definitely with you on this one... no one just "lives" forever. Regardless of what ending anyone picks in any game, the protagonist eventually dies. It's just a matter of whether that death occurs on screen or off screen. There are a number of death references in the ME Trilogy, not the least of which is the name "Reapers." and any of the poetic references Ashley cites during the game.
Tennyson:
Bioware has confirmed it. Shepard has at least now signed off for the final time. Time to let Shepard RIP!
