I'm pretty sure my account is linked properly to the keep and my EA account and I've clicked Export several times and I still get not option to import my world state when starting a new game

I'm having this problem too! im wondering if their update caused some bugs

Same problem here, I started playing about a week ago and couldn't import a save state. Wasn't concerned at the time since this is just a run for the nightmare achievement. But yesterday I found out about the golden nug that got added, so I hopped over to my first character to get schematics to my nightmare guy. Keeps giving me "failed to synchronize."  So I figured I could force it to sync if I exported a world state, but that's not popping up on the new character screen either.

 

I have my XBL account on my origin account, I've tried exporting a few times, I waited 5 hours for it to export to try again, I've tried restarting the game, restarting the xbox, hard-resetting the xbox, making sure all the ports were open just in case...  Only thing left that I can think of, though I don't know why it would affect it, is to reinstall the multiplayer addons. (I'd uninstalled everything when I beat the game the first time to free up some space for other games.)   If this doesn't work, then I'm completely out of ideas for how to fix it on my end.

It's a long shot, but try checking if family protection settings got turned on

Nope, all those settings are off/how I put them. NAT is open. Last sync was 40 minutes ago. Still nothing.

Nice to see im not the only one with this problem. I did every thing right on my end and all known fix attempts. EA just screwing things up....again....

Well Aztec, if you know anything about my profile picture and what happened to that game series... My feelings about EA don't need to be said   Only reason I've bought Dragon Age games is because it's Bioware, I generally avoid EA titles like they care the plague.

Same issue here on 360. Account is linked, family protection is off, etc. Tried all the suggested fixed, nothing works. Still just "Default World State" available. (Even tried waiting overnight to see if time would fix things.)

Same problem here. I've tried every fix that has been listed on other forums and nothing has fixed the issue.

I did the exact same things I even tried going to the keep on my consoles browser It worked 2 months ago when i first started but now it just doesn't give me the option at all when making a new character

We're trying a few things on our end... if anyone would like to try exporting a world state again and let us know if it's still not working, it would be much appreciated.

No problem, I'll keep checking back now and then    In the meantime, I got some dragons to hunt. Still nothing. Was kind of hoping the sync would just take a little bit of time, but ah well. Appreciate you guys working on the situation.

Damn. Surprised they jumped on it that quick.*knocks on wood* at least they didn't attempt to murder dragon age like they did with Mass Effect. No excuse can justify what happened to 3. Just wish they would make Jade Empire 2. And a new Kotor 3

Hi Everyone

 

I noticed this thread is going on right at his moment, so I wanted to report this same problem having me pulling my hair out. On an Xbox One, Btw.

 

-Made sure all the account are linked, dl'd the Origins Client & etc.

-Did the keep, locked and exported it, before I started up the game.

-Started DA:I, logged in automatically, left Origin and the Keep open.

-Only ever get Default World State.

 

Gonna go play Mordor instead, sucks. Hope this is fixable, 'cause I'm out of options and don't know what to do. Thanks!

I have been banging my head against the wall for quite sometime today, doing various workarounds and assuming the fetal position (the ultimate problem solving technique) and still nothing seems to work. Hope this gets fixed, first time I played through on the default world state and am not inclined to repeat that. Glad to know i'm not the only one.

Lol, Glad to see I'm not the only one, not letting me import a save, lets me export just fine on the keep, but DAI on the Xbox doesnt pick it up

 

Hope its fixed soon, wanted to play it for abit on a new Elf Mage after some bad times on BOPS 3, but no joys

No, not as far as I can tell.  I still can't import a custom world start

Hi again, with an update! We now have a much better idea of what's causing the issue but unfortunately the fix will take a little longer. We are working on it and will update again when it's been resolved.
