Does anyone have a solution for this? I attempted the "Copy all the info on the DvD to C:\\Disk Images\\Disk1 method, and installing from there; which is what the official tech support site says, but I'm still getting a Data Error.
I would search on the forums, as i'm sure there are a thousand posts like this, but I can't find the stupid search function in these forums :/
Install data fail

Try: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/87490/8
If its the issue I think it is, one of my posts on page 8 lists some of the most common manual workarounds for this, and there are some other gems on the following pages - I'd definitely give the Data Execution Prevention one a try, from page 11 (IIRC).

tried the DEP one, with no luck.
I did however get it installed...I just had to go through the installation about 5 times and find which files were erroring out. Have 3 files that errored out...and two of them are big ones. Tried to extract them using 3 different .rar extractors with no luck. The game is playing fine right now without them, but I have a constant dread of hitting a point and the game crashing.
Is there another way to obtain these files?
\\packages\\core\\textures\\high\\texturepack.erf
\\packages\\core\\data\\movies\\game_introduction.bik
modules\\single player\\audio\\vo\\en-us\\vo\\bdn100_scholar.fsb
those are the three files erroring out.
