still knows a lot more about the Dalish than she lets on.

That isn't why I dislike her though. I'm just saying. If anything, my problem with her is ethical.

Morrigan was aware in DAO that Flemeth  was important for the elves as the woman of many years but she did not  informed the warden about this but just addressed Flemeth as an abomination,so for her asking to a young elf warden who was unaware of this at the time to kill Flemeth is wrong like asking  to kill one of  their saints...

Let's not pretend that there's anything saintly about Flemeth, no matter what her PR relationship with a few of the Dalish clans is.

Of course she is important for the elves not just saint but godly, Mythal for them is holy.

I'm confident that Morrigan had no idea what the spirit inside Flemeth used to be.  I don't know whether Morrigan was aware that the elves revered Asha-bellanar for her historical interactions with them or not.  It's not especially unbelievable that Morrigan hasn't been there for any contact her mother had with elves.

So you hear about the Dark Ritual and the master plan and you are so upset and appalled that you wouldn't dream of fighting the person whose plan and ritual it is?

Obviously since i don't see why the warden should like  the idea to be used to do her dirty work?

She know that Flemeth is Asha-bellanar and  that she is important for the elves that is precisely why she was able to buy the Dalish trust in WH.

If you found out that the President of the United States ate babies, seduced and killed people for sport, could not be permanently slain and intended to find and cannibalize you personally at some point in the future, exactly how dirty would you feel getting a totally politically ignorant American soldier to shoot him by withholding the guy's status as President?

But if you don't know about the dark ritual then you're just fine with doing Morrigan's dirty work?  Why does knowing about it make a difference?  Once again bear in mind that everything Morrigan is doing is something Flemeth wants her to do and has trained her to do.

What's wrong with Flemeth?

I have a problem with Morrigan, but Flemeth? I can't think of anything.

That's kind of strange considering that the only thing Morrigan didn't get from Flemeth is her inexplicable English accent.

I think Flemeth made her that way to ensure high survivability. But she doesn't seem that way herself.

Flemeth shows time and again that she cares on some level. She's also funny. Almost extroverted too, despite living in a swamp.

I think Morrigan is a bit of a masochist is the thing so you have to kind of prove you can take what she gives or give what she takes or something or other in order for her to like you.

Incidentally she had to be based on "The Morrigan" right? I mean I'd think so

I doubt her social skills are even that refined. To be honest, I think she just has no idea how to deal with people as anything but weak, mindless fools to be despised and looked down on from afar, and manipulated if absolutely necessary. It's certainly clear that she never intended to enter into any commited relationship regardless of potential suiters' strength of character.

The whole kidnapping, raising and abusing little girls to steal their bodies when not whoring them out thing makes it rather hard for me to sympathize with her just because a few of the elves regard her as a walking historical monument.

Everything you say you like about her is true for Morrigan as well to my mind, with the added benefit that the latter doesn't speak nonsense or cackle at her own jokes. Or treat children disgustingly like toys and tools. Or for that matter kill people for sport.

The only thing I regret about slaying Flemeth is there not being an option to bring siege weapons.

I'm not talking about what elves think, unless I play a Dalish. I just think that generally speaking I have nothing against Flemeth. She's the deux ex machina who kept saving my characters. Whatever Morrigan says, I see no reason to kill her. And like I said, she's funnier. They're nothing alike, personality wise.

Yes, well, upon finding out about them my Wardens tend to take her horrible methods of attaining immortality rather seriously. Beyond even her treatment of Morrigan, which is despicable enough on its own. I might play a Casteless Dwarf used to babies being abandoned in the Deep Roads someday, and he might feel differently, but that's then and this is now. I also find Morrigan's sarcasm and acidic comments a lot more humorous than Flemeth's lame insults.

That's exactly what I'm calling the masochist/sadist thing though, it's there to filter people out but if you match her hatred/anger then you see a different side.

I haven't taken this road myself, but it's my impression that making a point of arguing with her is not the way to her heart. And while she resents melodrama, she also responds very well to open affection.

I think her level of misleading is the most extreme though.

I told to Morrigan that if she wants an ancient god it would be better for her to begin digging  all  i can offer is a  shovel.

As if she has nothing better to do....
Give me some proof that Flemeth eat children, hunt people for sport, possess her daughters if you can't than those kind of claims are nothing more but propaganda.

When people are deceived they are unaware of the truth  if i had  been aware at the moment  about the fact that Morrigan plotted this plan with Flemeth from the start then i would have realized that she was trying to use me to get rid of her and having carte blanche for her own agenda with the ritual, everything would have been different.

What do you want, DNA samples from the crime scenes? You're not answering the question. Let's assume that not every word out of Morrigan's mouth is a complete lie and Flemeth is in fact the lunatic the only first-hand witness to her character we have portrays her as. Why would witholding the fact of Flemeth's good relationship with one or two Dalish clans in any way make convincing an elf to rid the world of such a monster wrong?

A person is innocent until proven guilty.
If you can't prove that those accusations are true than they mean nothing.

This was the same argumentation Morrigan made when she described Flemeth that she was trying to made her strong to improve her survivability.

I think those are just a lot of nonsense to be honest,if she wanted to improve her survivability she could have taught to her those tricks to avoid death with an amulet.

Ah so Morrigan was obligated to tell you her long term objective so that you would be more able to draw a false conclusion about what she was up to right now?

First-hand testimony by your adult child along with a written confession(the grimoire) would be considered proof enough in most modern courts, and Thedas has nothing even remotely close to an impartial judical system. And once again you dodged the question.

Say that Flemeth speak more nonsense than Morrigan is in itself a nonsense.
I don't recall a character that spoke more absurdities of Morrigan in a DA game....maybe Anders.

Morrigan sole reason to follow the warden was to use childbirth as currency so she indeed wanted to use a child.
So Flemeth  treat child like tools bu Morrigan didn't? She wanted to use a child for the archdemon....
