You inspired me to go back and look. That thread is a few months from its one year anniversary, and I had forgotten how entertaining some of it was. It really was everyone else, I was pretty much lurking. I did such a terrible job of participating that I even forgot to pick a side.

Praetorians suck. So does my job. I work in a kitchen as a prep lead manager. I've worked at this place since it opened and I am the longest working employee yet a lot of the newer people are making more money than me. I also work with two culinary fuckheads who, just because they went to culinary school, were given manager positions and salaries. They are two of the laziest fucks I've worked with and I want to quit my job. Sorry, had a crappy day at work.
I want a job to be a praetorian. I would make a great praetorian and sneak up on pugs and bite.

OT: I would like to say as a warm up I roll dodge Praetorian eye beams my first game of the day and every time they try to fly off I run up and kiss them so that they land. When I kill them and they didn't even move 2 inches I expect everyone in the room to clap for me.
Both Praetorians had areas where you could endlessly kite them in a circle with an object in the way.
I believe you are referring to the Tires of Destiny on Horizon...are you not? That was kind of a tough fight. I sacrificed miranda so many times just so I could keep rope-a-doping that praetorian...she should know better than to wear a cat-suit into battle.
I've personally always found a good purging goes better with rockets.

I really had planned on changing it until almost half-a-dozen people in the two threads told me how irritating it was.
ME3 Collectors were designed for multiplayer (iow fair and balanced)
ME2 Collectors were designed for single player (less so)
ME2 is one reason why I don't complain about ME3 Scions

Scions were annoying......unless someone in the squad had a Combat Drone. Then they were a joke that could be stunlocked and ignored indefinitely.
Shh. No one's supposed to know that. 
Actually in ME2 they were worse. They were able to shut themselves down in the middle of combat and regenerate barriers without taking any kind of damage what-so-ever. Not to mention the height they were able to reach , when they were flying around and hitting you with lazers. The collectors in ME2 would kick the living stiff<---not the real word..out of the ME3 collectors.
There's a reason why I make sure I have the Cain before Horizon. ME2's "Easy" button.
