Any thoughts on Leliana ?
I didn't like her that much back when I first played Origins, but I find her far more interesting Inquisition. Probably because she's creepy. She's also my favourite Divine, but only when steeled. (I, for one, welcome our new Murder Pope.)

I have not yet played Origins so i only know her from this game. And what you say that you like her because she is creepy i can go for that. It is strange though a Pope who murders people and enjoys it.

Murde Pope! That's a good one. I agree that grooming Leliana on the path for McStabby/Murder Pope is fun. Great chance to RP a ruthless Inky!

A good character with an interesting story arc,she demonstrate a great open mindedness when she is ready to take advices from others however one of her weakness is that sometime she is not balanced and serene within herself to the point that she allow others to shape her.
Yes she is a good character and i agree that she has a interesting story that is one of the reasons that i like her

I take great pleasure in encouraging her to kill and be ruthless. One of my favorite things in the whole game is to see that Chantry slag Natalie get what's coming to her!

I'm not saying that i take great pleasure in encouraging her to be ruthless but i do that from time to time and i get the feeling that she enjoys killing people a little to much. How she could ever been selected Divine i don't know , that i find very strange

I didn't like her much in Origins at first. What was it Alistair called her 'Princess stabbity'? The Woman was far too obsessed with shoes and pretty colours for my liking. But she slowly grew on me. And now in Inquistion, I think she's one of the best characters in the series to be honest......since no other character seems to have grown as much as she has since her Origin days.
"Princess Stabbity" funny. She mentioned shoes in the Mission Wicked Hearts and Wicked Eyes and that she can tell how wealthy those people are.

Leliana is what she is.. Even as Devine she has ordered assassinations. I like her far better in DA:O then DA:I.
In DA:O she was a friendlier and "innocent" looking gal even though at times she had craze looking eyes. Tidus took one look and fell in love.
In DA:I she's all business and that "innocent" girl look is gone. I fear Tidus would take one look at her and would stay in his drunken state since that's not the same girl he loves.

So she changed a lot since Dragon Age Origin from innocent to what she is now

She wasn't innocent in DAO. She was running away from her old life and pretending to be someone else. She could either be encouraged to keep along that path or embrace her old life. After DAO she is sucked back into her old life anway.

In DAI, she had to be "all business" since the Inquisition is facing Corypheus at the time. Not only that, it was her coping mechanism over Justinia's death. But, you had the option to make her unhardened in DAI.

Wright1978, She looked innocent.. There's a big difference between looking innocent and being innocent. Leliana is stone cold and highly religious all wrap up in one package.
Sniper-Arrow nobody knew about Corypheus until he showed up at Haven and Leliana was not the friendly person she was in DA:O from the first time you speak to her..

I didn't like Leliana in DAO, but fell in love with her in DAI. I always hardened her in DAO so it seems like she learned something from the Warden. I like her attitude and loyalty to the Inquisition. She'll do what must be done. Whatever it takes. I love how she says "No one is innocent" before slitting Felix's throat... at that moment you just hate her for disobeying your specific order but then a few moments later she sacrifices her life to save you... I love that quest.
Leliana is the best choice for the Divine. She's not afraid to do what she thinks is right and probably couldn't care less about what people think of her. Of course only time will tell if she'll only become even more extreme after having that much power and so many new enemies...

No my mistake i was reading the post from Tidus wrong i thought she was innocent but he said that she looked innocent and there is a difference between the two of being innocent or looking innocent

Loved her in DAO, loathed her in DAI.
She was really nice in DAO and one of the more pleasant people to talk to. Had a headstart on Zev in lock picking. Did her best to curb my murderous ways. Tried to help those she could and wanted to save everyone. Had interesting tidbits about the locations we visited and some stories to pass the time.
In DAI she's always blaming me for everything. Why you blow up the chantry Lingz? Why you collar the mages? Why no kill empress Lingz? I disobeyed your orders, now I'm mad at you because I did that! I ask for comfort but get angry at you for trying to help! You never talk to me! You talk to much! Ugh.
Which I suppose means she's well written, since few characters ruffle my feathers as much just by opening their mouths. And she does give me the both sides of being in love/friends with a nice girl/boy but your friends think they are horrible people. Which is cool.
10/10 would rage at her again.

You are not the only one here who did not like her in Dragon Age Origins. True she is a tough woman in that Quest when she strangles that guys with her legs and after that she sacrifices her life for the Inquisitor. I can understand why you love that quest
That bothers me a bit she murders people and then she can become Divine i have said that before i find that strange
