Told ya not to get your hopes up. 2016 was NO WAY for Andromeda.

 

 

My thoughts based on the little info we knew at each year:

2012 - Not happening, duh

2013 - I damn well hope not!

2014 - I guess? But likely not. (EDIT: I mean I could see it happening if DAI was 2013 like earlier planned and MEA was relatively rushed out?)

2015 - Maybe? But maybe not. Could happen I suppose.

2016 - Can happen. May happen. Prepared for it to happen. Want it to.

2017 - Could happen (I guess now will happen?), but I would predict late 2017 as much as I would predict 2015 (aka I'm not strongly predicting it).

2018 - Not happening unless it goes FUBAR.

 

Early 2017 still fits how I felt about this game (late 2015-early 2017), but I dun wanna wait longer than that!

 

Playing it early to mid 2017 will be good since I'm returning to school this year and don't want the distraction. My life is on the line!

 

EDIT: Oh yeah and this increases the chances of me getting the parts to play this on at least high or ultra. My GPU recently fully(?) died so I'm using my boyfriend's of equal specs for the time being, but its only about as good as this gen's consoles. Pfft I need PC Master Race Parts.

 

EDIT: I think we'll get stuff at EA Plays (AKA E3 time) and then several months of increasing hype, especially after Holiday-Gift-Period sales of other EA games get done with.

Yeah I knew it was gonna be March 2017 - with their other big releases for the Holidays, they have to stagger them.

Give it time. Uncharted 4 announced yesterday another two week delay, the Playstation Store still says the original date.

First it was quite funny, but now its just sad, because i can actually imagine IGN giving such a grade with that minus. 

 

You know I can't take IGN seriously because of that ORAS Pokemon review. It proves to us the readers that their reviewers don't know games as well as they claim. 

 

Only true negative I see Andromeda getting is not enough new Aliens since we are going to a new galaxy. But Destiny taught us gamers not to be super excited for games anymore so I am just meh about Andromeda. I want it but I need to see more before I can make my finally choice

well technicalliy Q1 2017 is still kind of Holiday 2016 period. It  just depends on how you look at it though and when the precise date when we eventually do get one is revealed

Actually that's OK. I'll just keep indulging myself in the original trilogy and maybe another DA series run, more Witcher.

...This game was announced back in 2012, and I presume they've spent four years in development, and if so...now we have to another year?!

 

 

It better be 80+ hours long that isn't full of tedium or filler (looking at you, DAI!). As well as the bloody Game of the Year.

I'm totally okay with the delay so far. I hope that they utilize the given time to add some more dialogue options and in general a really solid substance to the main story.

I don't care if it comes out holdiay 2017 or in 2018 just don't release a broken piece of garbage.  Take your time and give me a complete game that actually works when I buy it.

I wasn't thinking fiscal years.  I was thinking more of a announcement for a game release to the public.  Oversight on my part.

It's EA that delayed MEA because EA had all it's eggs in the Fall 2016 launch window with Battlefield 5, Titanfall 2, and MEA all out at the same time so It's good to me that MEA gets a delay for some extra polishing that DAI could of used.
