i'm stuck on hinterlands can't get to this spesific spot on the map. can someone tell me the way?

It has been a year since I played, and I have a hard time remembering.

 

I believe if you head to the "western wall" and then wind your way south along it, you will come a cross a cave system. From what I remember, there is a small section on the other side of the cave system that cannot be accessed any other way.

 

Hopefully someone who has played more recently can elaborate.

^ That's pretty much the only way to describe it. Just go along the western border of the map and you'll eventually get there.

As others said, when you travel along western part of the map, you should eventually come across a cave. There is/was a rift there. On the right side from the entrance there should be smaller cave (slightly hidden, you might miss it if not looking for it). It's where you find it.

The demons that pop out of that rift are tough. I would wait to get to a higher level. Or bring two mages that have dispel making the fight easier. I know heading to that location, I encountered a few bears.

 

The small cave inside of the cave you enter that has the rift will be on the right.

On the far western side of the Hinterlands is a cave with a rift with lvl 12 demons. (Just played it last night.) Inside that cave near the end on the right side (standing from the entrance) is a side cavern. You pick that up and it's a letter to the farmer's family explaining he didn't abandon them, he tried to help people and got killed doing it and he bled out in that cave.

 

The quest is delivering that letter to his family on the farms.

Whew. I'm glad all you answered first, because I was going to reply with instructions for how to get the Shard that's always in/on/(Spoiler)above that spot that nobody can figure out how to get to.
