There were some rumors saying that Ivar The Boneless was a midget with brittle bone disease, but nobody knows how accurate the historical facts so far. Napoleon I was one of the infamous short conquerors.
Wonders of the ancient world, here's an article about ancient little people.
Is Makhunik an Ancient City of Little People?
Except that Napoleon wasn't short at all. He was ~1.70m tall, which was above average for his time.

Btw... did you read the article you linked? It debunks the "little people" theory. ![]()

I had you covered in the OP:
Obviously sarcasm is a foreign word to some. Heightism really sailed right over you.

One of these days I'll get around to making the Angry Elcor-specific BSN answer list, but I haven't quite figured out the wording for the entry about people who respond without reading the OP.

I can't help but feel that James Coco's version benefited from having Muppets in it. The only Muppet in Randy Newman's version is Randy Newman.

Now, I know what you're all thinking. Okay, that's a lie. However, I'm going to assume that you're all thinking the same thing, and in response to what you're thinking, I say this:
Height differentials and body types have never been available as part of CC in Mass Effect (or DA, discounting the fixed height/body of the different species.) However, they used to be. Knights of the Old Republic had three different bodies per gender, I think. Maybe it was two.
Are the diminutive getting the short shrift? What about the tall, have they been overlooked? Some days you want to be a 7 foot mountain of a man, and other days you want to be a little rogue who sneaks her way past everyone.
Because of engine limitations, every squad member had to be the same height basically, soo... not really a case of overlooking anything.
Could be fixed this time around.

I'd like the game to allow us to determine our protagonist's height. How many women you know that are about 6 foot? Me? Not many. Follow your own fail science BioWer: if blonde hair is rarer cuz white people are rarer shouldn't Viking heights be rarer as well. Look at all the shorter than European folks in asia. Short statures around 4'9 or 5'4 for my asian protags in particular.
Or some short athletic women like gymnasts (4'5 to 5'0)...

It's something I can live without, and would hardly be surprised if there are only a couple of re-used models for each of the different species in the game. If I were to get exactly what I would want (it really isn't going to happen, which is fine) the different planets would be populated by a highly variable set of models and locations. As much as shooting things or making political decisions, I could spend many hours wandering around looking at all the variety while talking to almost any random person who walks by. All of which requires resources, so I'm not expecting anything that extensive (especially not from a franchise that made a decided shift from exploration- to action-oriented after the first game.)

There was a Psychic volus who had been convicted of defrauding unsuspecting Elcor of their life savings for which he went to prison. However one day he escaped, the headline in the news the next day read. "Small medium at large!"

I always wondered why a lot of men like really short women. All the supermodels are tall.
