Lol I grew up with both metric and imperial. The wife does imperial and the daughter metric. I am their translator. Its sad but most folk will stick with one and ignore the other. The daughter is 27 so you think the wife would have a clue of metric system. Conversely the daughter has had 27 years of me translating inches etc, so she should grasp imperial.

We use both here. Usually when you are talking about the height of a person it's feet and inches but when you are talking about anything else it's meters and centimeters.
