Would be nice to see the default faces for M/F. Unless they are going the route of not having a defined face and will allow the player to create their own faces as default.

 

I hope there's no default face. Especially for the cover art.

I think the flap is just a bit of clothing that wasn't fastened right. It looks like they are trying to have different layers. You have your basic casual body suit, add some protective armor for the light set and then add thicker plates as you advance up. I think the flap is just the bottom suit unfastened. As for the comparisons to other games...come on really?

EDIT: I'm getting really worried about all these cowboy references. Being a space cowboy is not really mah jam. I get that we're exploring new frontiers and all the parallels you can draw there but do we really have to be so on-the-nose with the music and the armour design? I hope it's not a theme they take too far.

- The soft bits. Spacesuits are soft.
- The back looks like the face of an angry cat.
- Overall it looks like the N7 armor.

Dislike:
- Overdesigned with too many lines.

I like that one too, hopefully there are swappable armor pieces that will allow us to achieve that look, or our own style.

I like it overall, though I think the shoulder pads jar with everything else being so sleek, and I have no idea what the neck flap thing is actually supposed to be.

Consider: the "neckerchief" is probably intended to be used when one has taken the helmet off.

Overall, I like it but It does seem a bit over-designed.

It's probably not the protagonist. It's identical to the trailer character who BW said isn't the main character, and Shinobi followed up with this tweet:

Also remember the PC is billed as combat-trained but inexperienced. Hard to sell them being N7 in such a case.

Just asking, because I tend to believe shinobi more so than other so-called industry insiders.  Majority of his information has been spot on.

Kinda glad these up-close pics of "Johhny Cowboy" (a suitable nick-name you reckon, Andromeda n7 guy is so boring as a placeholder name) are being shown to all to see, but I'm chuckling it took most of you to stumble across these all cause of Shinobi tweeted it (the one whom so many bow down to for more ME:A info). Also I've had seen these pics thanks to google images back in January (they're photos that were released on an digital art forum before E3 2015 lol)

It's possible that the game starts you below the rank and your character earns his or her way to it.

Used for what? It's just there to look like a bandanna around a cowboy's neck.

Looks kind of like a Halo thing, I like it.  Slap some LEDs on that and it'll look sick.
