Because we all know that turians are really a single-gender species like the asari. The so-called "females" are just really feminine dudes.

This reinforces my belief that romances should be replaced with a single, giant space orgy. The complex quick-time challenge would take nearly an hour to complete, and should leave the player completely exhausted. But, if performed perfectly, they successfully negotiate peace among all species of the galaxy, and receive the secret mauve ending, in which all previous decisions you made from the series are represented by endscene vignettes.
I'm expecting a female turian squadmate this time. It's the easy way to shake things up and not have a male turian going toe to toe with the memory of Garrus.
The Omega DLC for ME3 was the first time in the series we got to see a female turian. The Cabal Vanguard was later added in MP, and another female turian made a brief appearance in the Citadel DLC.
Do you think there will be female turians in Andromeda? I always thought it was odd how virtually all the turians we interacted with in the original trilogy were male, especially since they supposedly have an egalitarian culture. What do you think?

No more of this nonsense where we only see males because females are sooooo rare/never allowed to leave their homeworld.
I think the lack of females for most races is primarily just because of the extra model costs. But volus, elcor and hanar could totally just swap voices around. I have this sneaking suspicion that female drell wouldn't be all that different from males due to the reptilian thing going on. Like krogan and salarians.

Seeing the other female versions of the races would be interesting. We have already seen the Krogan and Turians. I wouldn't mind seeing the others mostly for the dynamic that occurs between the two sex have to fight to save lives. Plus this would open the game up to more character option for npc and squadmates.

I really want a female Turian squadmate that's like the opposite of Garrus. Not your bro, not completely overt about everything, not a follower, etc. Someone with their own motivations, their own morality and their own ideas about what should be done.
