Last bit: For anyone who has time, Nerdwriter1 is a Youtube essayist I like a lot, and his most recent video happened to be on the subject of Ansel Adams, a famous photographer I knew nothing about myself until watching this. Pretty interesting stuff.

This is an actual type of eucalyptus tree that grows in Maui. Just underneath the bark, it's wood is polychrome.
