When on a kit that can't side dodge in some form, do you ever try to spin hard 90° and stick to cover/run in an attempt to dodge a banshee ball/missile/etc?

My serious answer if I am using a character that can't dodge..aka turian soldier..and a warp ball is coming my way and I am not near a wall or some for of hard-cover..I will try to sprint past it....It is possible, once you figure out the angle the warp ball is coming at you..I do this with the krosol & krosent all the time.

I do that too. It's more like 45°ish, depending on lag. Messes with the "homing curve" of it. Easier with lag, harder on host, in my experience. (One of the rare things I can say that about)

Tbh, I think this topic is rather shallow and pedantic.

I do have one funny story about the warp ball....I was playing as an asari adept on jade/reapers...I was in the left area (of the lz) a banshee teleported in..I turned around to run towards the bottom right side of the bridge...she must have thrown the warp ball at me...as I was running that way....there was a paladin on that side of the bridge that just shook off a husk and he turned to look  my direction..just in time to take the warp ball to the face.

I do have one funny story about the warp ball...

I feel like that story would've been a lot better for the paladin if he'd remembered to shield bat it aside right after the husk.

 

Craziest Warp ball for me was one that curved improbably around the stair in the middle of FBW. Basically by the time that thing hit me it was going the opposite direction it had been. =/ I took that one full in the 'arse.

Yeah I usually hug the nearest adjucent wall or just run off to my 3:00

If you're savvy you can start strafing to the left before she actually throws it, then simply strafe to the right and it will miss

On Topic: If I play a dodgeless character I forget it can't dodge, try to dodge anyway and get the warp ball to the face.
