probably you are trolling us.I wish I had a video, but I do not. I will give you Kalence calculations for damage first,
Incisor
http://kalence.drupa...63U55334!EDBA3G
Note that the damage is per shot and tac cloak with sniper bonus active. Multiplied by 3 it becomes, 3714. Now, the Incisor has a clip size of 15 and a total of 150 bullets to start out with. There is no delay in firing bursts which means you can empty the clip within the window that the tac cloak bonuses are active. That gives you 18,570 dmg per clip. Multiply that by 11 and you can dish out 204,270 dmg before running to the ammo box.
Widow
http://kalence.drupa...63U55334!EDBA3G
Damage per shot is 4197. One shot weapon + 17 in reserve if you have it maxed at X. That gives you 75,546 dmg before running to the ammo box. Also consider that reload canceling is crucial but everyone knows that. You can get off, what, 2 or 3 shots off before the tac cloak dmg-boost window ends. Also consider that this weapon is heavier than the Incisor meaning a longer cooldown.
Black Widow
http://kalence.drupa...63U55334!EDBA3G
Damage per shot is 3112. 3 shots in clip + 25 in reserve. 9,336 dmg per clip. 87,136 dmg before running to the ammo box.
Javelin
http://kalence.drupa...63U55334!EDBA3G
Damage per shot is 5207. 1 shot weapon with 15 in reserve. 83,312 dmg before running to ammo box. Heaviest weapon of the bunch.
Now these figures are based on each weapon having the same mods and disruptor ammo (which you can swap out with anything you like). When you factor in the Incisor's usability, damage, rof, capacity, weight compared to the other three you can see that it holds its own in damage output against the other 3. Also keep in mind that the Incisor will be maxed for most people while the BW and Javelin will rarely ever see level X.
any possible comments on your mentioned points in particular aside,
... you do know that these are not the numbers you see in reality, for example when you hit the sweet spot with high penetration?

@Cryos,
I know it's a contestable assertion that the Incisor is 'probably the best sniper rifle in the game'. As you can see from the damage stats, it's not the strongest on per shot damage. But in my opinion, it pulls ahead of the others considering its ROF, ease of use (if you use stability mods), weight, rarity and overall DPS. It took me 4 matches on Gold (2vReapers, 1vCerberus, 1vGeth) to come to this conclusion in which I completed the 140k points target that I hadn't completed even once since I unlocked the thing. So it's not going to take you 500 hours to get good at using it. Take it from a 350hrs noob.
And no, I'm not discussing the Incisor with you until you use it and report back.
@Deerber,
Actually, believe it or not, I'm not trolling about the Incisor. I wasn't even trolling about the Indra when I made that thread but I can see how it underwhelms compared to the Argus, Revenant, Harrier etc now. I use hyperbole a bit here and there, but if it makes people stop and consider the point, then my job is done. I wish the Locust was a bit better though.

with or without dried grapes grain and Lebkuchen ?
Raisins all the way. Lebkuchen is a way to add sweetness and convert the marinade to a sauce. Specifically you'd take "Printen" from Aix La Chapelle for that, not the Nürnberg variant. You can also use "Rübenkraut" as sweetener - I think it's "treacle" in English, stuff is syrup made from sugar beets. It's also essential for the Rievekoche, some sort of galette de pomme de terre, deep fried in oil.

The incisor isn't as garbage as most people here would make you think, but it's not even close to be able to be considered a contestant for the best sniper in the game. It's just not. Look, here is pretty much the best you can do with that gun: https://youtu.be/7McHYs_kJsQ
It's an ok-ish gun. I'll take it a hundred times over the raptor. Nowhere near as good as a BW or the King Javelin though.

Working on it. Expect my thread on the Locust when it happens.
As for the snipers, Javelin I can understand (still, wind up and RCing require more expertise than streaming the DPS out of an Incisor). But BW? Also mentioning the Raptor in the same breath as the Incisor is an insult to the latter. Actually, mentioning the Raptor at all is an insult to this game. **** that gun.

LOL. Black Widow is the best overall sniper in the game just edging out Javelin. And Incisor is pretty bad, just like Argus as you need every possible buff to make it viable. You need a kit, you need the attachments, you need the gear and you need the consumables to compensate for it's horrible default performance.

You're still comparing damage stats. And yet, once you do compensate for Incisor's (and Argus) faults (just like how you RC to compensate for a one shot weapon), it becomes devastating. The video that Deerber linked shows pretty much how I played the gun except that I had a scope instead of the extra Piercing Mod. The guy was still pausing slightly after every burst because the cross hair was moving up just a little bit.
The scope removes that entirely. Those extra seconds wasted vs loss of a little extra penetration when using the scope is what the tradeoff comes down to.
The only competition Incisor has in my manifest is from the Widow which only recently got to X. Both the Javelin and BW are around I or II. And even when they get to X (if I stick around that long), I'm sure I'll still prefer the Incisor from time to time. Because I find the Incisor to be more 'fun' apart from being very very good (Arguably better
).
The Javelin will be good for role playing kits though.

The BW is good too. Some scrubs even think it's better than the Javelin
And yeah, as I said, I'd take the incisor over the raptor any day.

Got a better look at the video. SMIII seems to be enough. Will have to try without scope and see if there's any noticeable difference.

I've never seen these sausages here. It must be because you lowland barbarians eat them all. That leaves us with only Mettwurst to put into our Grünkohl. If Frankfurt is kind we can also use Rippchen.
There was no Grünkohl at the soup kitchen next door - instead we got a nice goulash-type stew. Everybody agreed it was great eating.

don't be sad.
The Javelin is not so good on level 1 due to its small clip size. You'd want to use a mod to offset this.
I used to love the Javelin but now I am only quick-scoping which binds me to the BW or Valiant, etc.
because I got tired of almighty abominations, husks and Marauder ellbows. I could not take the feeling
of being so "incomplete" any longer.

So why is the Locust good? I get that it's stable and accurate, but I always found the damage very underwhelming. This could easily be a "L2P" issue. I don't have an abundance of high-level rares or amps, so I'm often trying to "make do" with combinations that exploit whatever I do have, and I have a Locust. I stopped using it ages ago. It is probably a headshot thing, that the multiplier is very high?
