Pretty much everywhere, at least regarding afro hairstyle.

I rarely found personally game with character creator that actually had some decent afro. I don't know why they leave that hairstyle always out or least important I consider them fabulous and fun hairstyles because they are very unique looking.

Dragon's Dogma tried but I hate the run animations in that game so much that I can't play it anymore

A general rule of thumb for all Bioware games is that hair textures will look bad, regardless of color or the ethnicity of the character it belongs to. Granted, some do look worse than others. Hair is something Bioware has always done poorly in comparison to other developers however.

Expect it to look bad in Andromeda, but hope for improvement.

This is true.
All hair looks pretty bad.

Good afro texture is the hair type we've never actually had. Any color.

yea, but have you seen how the females are horrid in DA:O, DA:2, DA:I, ME:1, ME:2? til standard femshep uodate in ME:3? someone must be a woman-hater somewhere. must be why bioware's games give option to wear full head covering everywhere cept cutscenes and indoors.  Sooo it'll probably be awhile b4 hair probs get solved, cause there aren't many gumshoe detective games set in ME/DA world that any of em look good (or decent)

because I'm not talking about afros. I'm talking about afro-texture.

Afro-textured hair is the natural hair texture of certain populations in Africa, the African diasporaAustralia and Asia, when this hair has not been altered by hot combsflat irons, or chemicals (through permingrelaxation, or other straighteningmethods). Each strand of this hair type grows in a tiny, spring-like helix shape. The overall effect is such that, compared to straight, wavy or curly hair,[1] afro-textured hair appears denser.

Oh, I see the pattern. We've gone through all the hair color threads, now we'll be going through all the hairstyle threads. What then? Clothing styles? Accents?

The cycle cannot be broken.

Hair style in the Black Desert Online CC. Look at 1st minute or so:

source:https://youtu.be/vp8v44iriyU

I'll add the body customization capability of the CC as well. Look from around the 11 minute mark.  I think Frostbite is incapable of this due to engine design limitations.

All of this to say that other game developers are way ahead of Bio's pathetic CC.

What we really need is a comb-over style or two.

I recall that Bioware said they have looked at CCs like Black Desert's, EVE Online's, etc for inspiration for their CCs. So maybe we'll get something akin to this, or at least something like Bethesda did with Fallout 4.

This is a valid concern for people such as myself.  I am a black male.  For the past 3 years, I've had an Afro and now dreadlocks.  When creating myself or a character like myself, it is very difficult to find hair that reflects my people.  I would love dreadlocks in ME:A, or even a (well done) afro.

Tell me, have you ever served in the military? Because, the PC in Mass Effect has always had some sort of military background. Therefore, it makes no sense for the PC in Mass Effect to have dreadlocks or an afro.
