It'll be full of dragon calls if it is similar to dragon chests we used to get in weekly challenges.

Wouldn't hold your breath for weapons.

It is true that you will get a chest in MP (maybe it's dragon chest, but I can't remember precisely), but no it does not guarantee Hakkon weapon, in fact, it does not guarantee anything (well if it's dragon chest it will contain dragon calls... ).

 

You don't have a higher odds in getting Hakkon from that "special" chest. After reaching top loot bracket you can expect (not saying you will, but you might, just depends on individual luck) to find a Hakkon or lv27 weapon for every 1 million gold spent. That equates to about 500 superb requisition chests. So yeah, you stand a 0.2% chance of finding a Hakkon from upgrading your game to deluxe edition. In other words, you stand a 99.8% chance of getting junk.

 

You might spend about an hour to grind 2000 gold to buy a chest to start with, so if you feel buying all dlcs to save 1 hour of your time is worth it, then definitely go ahead

Ill just keep farming nm dragons than so far 65 nm dragons done and still hoping to get my first hakkon drop

Now come to think about it... have anyone actually bought the DLC lately and opened the chest?  Is it possible that they have changed the chest came with the DLC like the Book 3/4/5 Victory Chest?

He must have been very lucky. Because the only chests with guaranteed end game gears are Victory chests from book rewards.

 

However, if it's victory chest your friend should have received 3 Hakkons instead of 1.

 

I would recommend buying the dlcs though, won't do you any harm

Well it is too late now.  But if you could go back in time and re-post the OP, you should have said something like "Woot they have changed the reward chest came with purchased DLC!  I got a Hakkon and 2 level 27 weapons out of it!"   Then you just sit back and wait for the results.   If the angry mob came back after you, you could just say "Wow I must have been really really lucky then..."

Do you get a chest per DLC purchased?  I can probably finish my collection buying the DLCs in that case.

 

Oh man, I might try this when I get home.  I've been meaning to buy these when I get around to the single player.  This will get me to the single player faster!
