I've been interested if whether we will get a shift in loyalties among a member of the new squad (or crew) in Mass Effect: Andromeda, going by what we know of the narrative, in that we are looking to establish a new home for humanity in this new galaxy.

There are already some interesting threads going on about who our new antagonist could be, and from those discussions some ideas about whether our protagonist and antagonist have different ideas about dealing with potential new species in Andromeda.

Instead of all members of the squad and crew following the protagonist in unwavering loyalty, would it be interesting for there maybe to be a circumstance where a member of our squad instead chooses to go against what our protagonist stands for at some point in the game?

This shift in loyalty could also potentially tie into the suggested loyalty missions that take place in the game. A consequence of how those loyalty missions play out could be that one of our squad or crew chooses to switch sides, oppose the protagonist etc.

If they are not loyal in creating a new home in a new galaxy then the air lock has plenty of room.

I would love to see that! Like if you failed to get Zevran's approval high enough, he tries to kill you again in DAO and you have no choice but to kill him. Or Bull's big betrayal if you kill the Chargers in DAI. ME needs something like that! It was fun to see if I could save and befriend everyone in ME2 and end happy, but the fate of half the ME2 squad in ME3 was so damn depressing it made the SM feel like a waste. I worked so hard to save everyone and for what? lol I get the drama in ME3 but if you truly invest in ME2 you really feel the loss in ME3.

What if the protag realizes there is a betrayer in the squad, and has to figure out who it is through your dialog choices?  Too complex to write, I'm sure, but it would be interesting if, over the course of the game, you have to figure out who it is, and lay information traps (I'm the only one who told it to you!). Time to blow them out of the airlock. Very satisfying. Or leave them to die (ending scene of what James Bond did to Dominic Greene in the desert, in Quantum of Solace.)

Use the new mako to make it happen. I'm already there.

Could be interesting, depending on how they pull it off.

Or what Bond does to Drax in Moonraker

Could definitely bring some tension between the protagonist and the squadmate that ends up betraying you. I'd like to see it.

So many of us want the potential for betrayal and defections, one of the things I really hope they're listening to. I can imagine this game suddenly becoming less boy scout (which it needs to.) and actually moving bio toward a more adult way of handling the story if they do.
