Flushing my dns cache ended up fixing it right away.
run - cmd - ipconfig /flushdns - enter/return - exit.

1. wait for miracle
2. play without DLC I PAID FOR because I cant authorize
3. turn pirate
why do I get the feeling that the developer is actually laughing in my face for buying this great game but unable to play properly because of crap DRM a buggy connection?
Is there someone that can help?...
Is there anything I can do?

I discovered that it appears to have "forgotten" my account details, but it's still trying to log in. Manually clicking connect (it's a less than obvious button on the cerberus network device) and re-entering the details solved it for me.

Just encountered this problem after installing Kasumi. Put this into an elevated (run as admin) command prompt, re-entered my login info, and all is well.

for people who use trend micro:
open trend micro>personal firewall>settings>advanced>tab program contol>then select mass effect 2 from the list>modify>then set it to allow both incoming and outgoing traffic and make sure u set it to TCP/UDP
that solved it for me:)

I had issues getting Cerberus network to work so I could validate Kasumi dlc I also couldn't login into Dragon Age Origins seeing as the login button was grayed out, I have a PC and use windows 7 so I hope this will help vista/Xp users some what.
Go to control Panel,
you should see the search bar in the top right
type: Windows Features, Programs and Features should pop up,
select Turn Windows Features on or off, you should see a box blocked it for Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1
select the plus sign and check the box for both windows communication foundation HTTP
Activation and Non-HTTP Activation,
press ok and give it a try
Hope it works for you like it did me, best of luck.
Hmm, this seems like it would work, but will have to see if anyone else is helped first.
It worked
Hmm, this seems like it would work... but it doesn't.
I find it particularly strange (not to mention mighty annoying) that EA requirees you to perform obscure, risky low-level IP4 settings that then don't even work.

Doesn't work, DRM buggered over legitimate buyers, pirates wont get this crap.
Somejah was very helpful last night, trying to help me to get my codes redeemed on the Cerberus network. Unfortunately, none of the things we tried (basically all known possible solutions) solved the problem.
You know, this is precisely the reason people go pirate. You try to do the right thing, you get the shaft.

I Tried
- disbaled firewall
- cmd fixes
- hosts file edit
- the Framework 3.5 fix
-Aproving ports
-Starting, minimizing, starting internet, maximizing, still nothing.
-patching
(Note i dont have any dlc installed, its just the retail game)
Note the only thing changed by me is that i went from ADSL to Glasfiber since a month or so, Thus changing the modem but i have a direct connection to my modem by wire.

I've been trying *everything* that's listed in this thread and none of it worked.
If there are other opinions on how to fix this please let me know.
