Deliberating on where was best to post this, and I feel like this ends up being a silly question, but I was curious if anyone has run into a problem of being unable to locate the "Charred Note" relating to the four notes one must collect for the extra dialog choice by the end of the DLC.
From what I've read, it's the first note one should come across once on the central island of the Forgotten Elven Ruins, located down to the right after the bridge, close to the shoreline on a dead Qunari. Playing on the PS4 here, but I cannot for the life of me find any Qunari body that's anywhere near the shoreline. I've exited the area completely and returned, still no body, but I'm wondering if I'm looking in the wrong place (though per the DA Wiki and a walkthrough I've browsed on Game FAQs I should be in the correct place)? I searched before continuing the storyline, gave up after running around the island twice, finished the first leg (killing the Qunari and learning about their plans) and reported back to the advisers before returning again to still find no body in evidence.
Has anyone run into this before? Am I simply looking in the wrong places? Should I attempt with a system shut-down slash restart and look yet again? Should I simply give up on being able to call anyone out by the end of the DLC? Hah, it's driving me up the wall enough I figured to ask. Thank you!
