If you are using the same e-mail address, and your profile is linked with your gamertag (that part of the process is handled by EA's account login/creation, I'm 99% sure) then all you would need to do is login to the game and play long enough for it to synch and send data to the servers. I don't know how long that is, but I imagine you could save and quit almost immediately and it would recognize the game.

 

If your accounts are not linked, then I believe the first step would be to link them, which would probably require logging to your account at EA and doing it from there.
