I know this is a technical problem over there they say that you have to change your throne. I did that but i still can't judge him there is a very long loading screen and after that i am standing before the throne. But i cannot sit in it anymore and Samson and the rest are just standing there do any of you guys know a solution because this is not the first time that that happened to me.
I cannot judge Samson

I think you can fix this just by making a quick visit to another area (like Hinterlands, Storm Coast etc) and come back, the throne should be sittable again. This usually fixes it for me, I think?

Same thing happened to me to but i was finally able to judge him by using the Mage throne. Did you use that one already that's the only thing i can think of i hope it helps.

Not to be a jerk, but isn't this a gameplay problem? What's the point of having different sections if people post a topic wherever they want?

I had this same problem on my second playthrough on PS4 (Honestly, my second & third playthroughs were strangely glitchier than my first) and nothing I did fixed it. I also tried everything the above posters mentioned and none of it worked, it might actually be a legitimately unfix-able problem, with regards to the Samson judgement specifically.

Ha! I thought you had the same problem as I did: I don't feel I have the moral authority to judge Samson.
Guess it's just me then ![]()

Of course you do. Most people do.

This happens to me sometimes when I saved right before sitting on the throne. What I suggest is going to talk to someone in another part of Skyhold, save only there and then run back to the throne. Usually works for me.
Thank you most of the times i do that to save right before i sit down so i have not tried that yet but i will off course
If it works i give you a like ![]()

It's caused by the game auto-saving as you sit on the throne. The only fix I've found is loading an older save I've made myself.
Okay i can try that as well if the other one is not working for me
When your solution is working i give you a like and if the other solution is working i give him a like and when both solutions aren't working uhm ........... i give both of you a like ![]()

I know that and it won't happen again i promise i just thought that most of the people are here so that's why i did this

Well if that happens to me to then i would most certainly find that a game breaker that i would not be able to judge Samson. The worst of them all i would really like to judge him i would really like to chop of his head if that was possible.

Of course you do. Most people do.
What did he do?
He tried to overthrow the Chantry -- that's a good thing.
He smuggled drugs -- big deal.
He got the templars hooked on a red drug that corrupted them and would ultimately kill them -- instead of the blue drug they were already hooked on that corrupted them and would ultimately kill them.
He killed a lot of people -- but not as many as the Inquisitor.

Samson killed innocent people in service to a would-be darkspawn god. Not the same thing, and you know it.

So your (and his) argument is that he basically did what the Chantry was already doing to the Templars, only faster and more unpleasant. Is that supposed to be better, or worse?
Don't seek out moral ambiguity where there is none.

I wonder if the bug that prevents you from promoting Ser Barris has been fixed too? I hate having to wait until I'm going to judge someone to promote him. If you judge everyone and leave his promotion for last, it never happens.

Nope, still not fixed. I had to wait for a judgment to pop up, and then it went to Barris' promotion ceremony before the judgment took place.

The Inquisitor killed bandits, deserters, Avvar barbarians, mind-controlled Wardens, cultists and Red Templars...Samson killed innocent people...
It worries me that anyone feels that they have the right to decide who counts as 'innocent people' and who doesn't.

I find it amusing you think there's some moral ambiguity at play here. I see bandits attacking a village, I don't think, "Maybe the village started it."It worries me that anyone feels that they have the right to decide who counts as 'innocent people' and who doesn't.
Well, you're either hopelessly naive or trolling, and either way, I see no point in engaging you further.

I tried to do those possibilities that you two mentioned here. But there was nothing the two guards were gone Samson was obviously gone to and i could not sit on the Throne anymore. So that is a real game breaker for me the worst villain of all and i cannot judge him. I think he red my thread here on this forum that i was going to chop of his head and he found a way to escape prison so he is still out there.

Ugh... oh well, I guess I'll hold off judging the mayor until that war table mission is complete lol

I guess there is still a lot wrong with this game and that there are a lot of things that need to be fixed someday maybe
