Ok everybody apparently Dr pepper is giving away DLC through
the caps of the soda. The problem I am  having though is actually getting the DLC, I have
entered the code on DR pepper’s site and it just redirects me to my profiles
DLC on the Mass effect website where it shows you what you have downloaded for
DLC and none of my Dr pepper content shows up though. Anybody got a solution?

This what I did:

Create an account at drpepper.com

Entered code from the cap while logged in at drpepper.com

Clicked Submit and it took me to ea.com redeem webpage and I loggin in there

I selected Mass Effect 2 picture icon at the top

I selected one of the three available DLC items, Recon Hood

After I confirmed, it took me to Bioware Social network and I logged in

It listed all of my redeem promotional codes including the DrPepper Recon Hood

I turned on my xbox and loaded up Mass Effect 2

It said New Content Available and I selected the Recon Hood from the Cerebus Network

I confirmed the download and exited the game and it downloaded

I restarted Mass Effect 2 and now I have the Recon Hood...too bad it doesn't dispense delicious Dr Pepper during missions

I have the same problem as the OP. I've followed the same path you did, Kei, except that when I get to the redeemed promotional codes, the Recon Hood doesn't show up.

I think you have to make sure your Bioware Social Network account has the same email as your EA.com account.  You also have to make sure your EA.com account is linked to your Xbox 360 Gamertag.

All of these things are already done, and were already done well before I redeemed any of the codes.
