I've been trying to activate the digital download version from EA Store, but after I get to the step when activation.exe runs after clicking play on ME2 launcher. A window opens up where you have to type in your E-mail and password, but when I try to log in to my EA account it just says "We're sorry, an error has occurred.".

I've tried the obvious solutions such as disabling firewall and such so far, any ideas if the activation server is down or something similar?

Did you find a solution to this? I'm getting the same error, and nothing seems to help, can't even start the bloody game...
