If I can try it for free, then I'll definitely do that cause it'll also give me a chance to see if I can get used to playing on pc. That would be really nice! ![]()

Yes you can experience all class story's for free.
No. We have Revan to do that. Lol (even though I love Revan and KoTOR, I'm not sure that Bioware would do a good job at inputting it into there game, lol.)
You're 100% correct. If you saw what they did to Revan and the Exile in SW:TOR, you'd lose all hope in humanity.

Good that I didn't it anyway. Story arc with Core was a bit interesting, too bad that the rest of Inquisitor story was written by/for 12 years old.

I think it was fine but I am not one of leave my revan/hof/hawke/... alone people. ![]()
Reven.
Exile
Exile is one of my favorite protagonists, so I was mad for a bit. Then I decided canon Exile was a putz and I guess that's okay because SWTOR did need a canon.
Of course, it's probably part of the reason I'm adamantly anti-canon-ending-and-Shepard, and why I'm quite glad we're off to Andromeda.
No.
At least not like you are portraying it. I've had enough of the evil colonialist stuff beat into me by the self-flagellating culture to last me a lifetime. What you are asking for is to overly simplified.
We can do that, or have the option for it, but they are looking for a massive game. There's enough space there in ... well, space ... to encompass a wide range of options from peaceful co-existence struggles to native cultures overwhelming the colonists' own so that some settlers "go native," becoming as alien as anything you find.
There can be wars born out of intolerance on one or the other or both sides. There can also be potential peaceful resolutions and strange combinations no one could have foreseen on either side that simply ... work.
I guess my point is that Andromeda would fail if it wound up being morally one dimensional in its storytelling to the point where you felt as compelled to make yourself into a characters as cast as your Shepard was in the RGB endings.

I played an evil Revan, who killed Carth and made the Wookie kill his teen Twilek friend.
But I don't mind what they did in Swotor. There's no way some flagship character is as bad as that... not if they want to transfer it to a wider world. People like heroes. I can't really complain. So do I, at the end of the day.
Just think about it. we are an invading species that is not native to this part of the galaxy. We will need to take and colonize inhabitable planets that the species that are already living there will need/want. We are the parasite taking over that witch is not ours. It would just e great if the incorporate the other side of the story and make us look and feel like the jerks we are. In Andromeda we are the British/Spanish/French and the local aliens are the Native Americans. It would make for a fun and interesting story. Not just us being the great white hero that saves all mankind yet again.
Perfect plot is perfect!
I want to make love to you right now.

Oh, I want to play a evil Revan. But first, I must successfully play a good Jedi Revan and I'll be happy with myself.
I've been planning that for years.. never got around to it. That's still my first and only playthrough ![]()

What if any Andromeda Species are much much "overdeveloped" as any Species from the Milky Way ? In this case however who is going to be the bad guy ?
Bastilla Romance?
Yeah.. I remember she went dark too.. and then Carth attacked.

What being the bad guy has to do with technology though? If we are behind in technology we can still send Thresher Maws spores to Khet hub worlds and start training suicide bomber from shepardists.
Bastilla Romance?
Revan have kids with Bastilla. Satele Shan is his grangrangran... daughter don't know how much gran. And he have some romance with Exile or was friends don't know details.

Granddaughter. They loved each other.
The problem is that the personalities of Revan and Exile are different in SW:TOR. Revan is this broody emo who finally snaps and the Exile spent 300 years as a force ghost by his side, lending him her strength... out of love. Sorry, but my protagonists were different people. How the hell does this even work, with the Exile being in love with him? Did she cheat on him in KotOR2? Did she not love him enough to stay with him after Malachor? ... bleh.

If SWTOR had no ties to the Revan storyline you could have had pretty much the same RPG, and left the option open for making Kotor III some day. EA messed up that chance, and SWTOR failed. I did still like the Meetra and Revan relationship in SWTOR though, it was Interesting what little there was.

I like how in the Killzone games, the Helghast were actually the good guys. The ISA were the invadering bad guys. Kinda funny, the guys that look dark and like Nazis, are actually the good guys. Where as the rugged, colorful looking guys, are actually the bad guys.
How would you control it? Have you seen the quickbars? How would you handle all the menus? You'd need a keyboard and mouse or you wouldn't be able to make it off the starter planet.
Actually, Final Fantasy 14 worked out a "crossbar" system that lets console players play their skill slot-heavy game. SWOTOR could do something similar.

Its not the simplest control scheme in the world, but it makes the game fairly playable on the PS4.
They could probably make it work somehow if they really wanted to. I really hope they do some day, I prefer playing on console. PS4 and Xbox one.
