We need a Manveer Heir cameo. He can play Adam Baldwin's BFF.
What we really need is a montage.

Here's hoping that guy is the next name on the list who departs from Bioware. And the industry as a whole.
What we really need is a montage.
That reminds me.
We need Sylvester Stallone to voice a character.
I can see him voicing a krogan.

No gamer girl/guy cameos! At all! Ever! Diana Allers was just terrible as a character, Jessica Chobot is a godawful VA and every time she spoke she made me want to set myself on fire. Then her.
Felicia Day was alright (I liked Veronica Santangelo but that's another game entirely and I digress), but I think somebody else said it best that her roles could easily be played by somebody else.
As for every other gamer girl/guy, besides those two I'm not (knowingly) familiar with any of them, so why should I care about them being in my game?
Give the roles to professional voice actors, Bioware, yeah? Even the crappy cameo ones.
When I first played ME3, I had no idea who Jessica Chobot was or that DIana Allers was an IGN plant. I didn't think her acting was horrendous and I still don't. She just seemed like a weird stowaway that didn't really do muchexcept wear ugly white leather dresses and forget to wash her hair.
I'm more surprised that people weren't more offended by Kalisah "I exist in this game to get punched" Al Jilani. Whoever came up with the idea was like, "I know violence against women is a plague on our nation, but lets include this character where the running gag is you punch her in the face every time she opens her mouth to shut the dumb b-tch up. It'll be hilarious lololol". Even if you don't take the interrupt, the camera zooms in on your clenched fist subliminally telling you, "Punch her! Punch her now!" It's pretty twisted.

This reminded me of this.

But me. I'll always do this.

It felt so good.
Punching her was hilarious though.

Jessica Chobot is great, the problem was how they implement her character and how the PR team capitalized it. Something akin to Cullen or Josephine romance and npc arcs would work just fine, but no, they had to appeal to some misguided concept of video game culture.
Also no, I do not want to see that again, in any form or gender.
But it was hilarious my hypersensitive friend!
And don't think for one second Ashley or Miranda won't get the hand if they backtalk me.
I'm pretty zen about jokes being just that... jokes; even if they're in poor taste. This one just made me feel a bit queasy though.

Would it have made you queasy if it was a man?
I'm sorry - not really.I'm pretty zen about jokes being just that... jokes; even if they're in poor taste. This one just made me feel a bit queasy though.

Would you like some chamomile tea to soothe your nausea?
Do not mind him, he is just a egomaniac ruler and one step closer to burn some witches since five minutes ago.

If he weighed 90lbs and couldn't defend himself, then yeah.

Funny stuff.

She was an actual character in ME1, where she was simply a human nationalist biased reporter trying to find out if Shepard is shilling for aliens at the expense of humans or not, and Renegade Shepard could get her on his side too. She didn't become some silly running gag until ME2, much like with Conrad Verner, whom actually had a serious role in ME1 showing the negatives of fame.

This is why men should work out.

Sensing some shade here, even i can SEE where this is going.

"This is interview is over" = knock her unconscious kind of negates any story relevance she might have had. I did play ME1 surprisingly.
He may to need lay down. Try punching him.
He can try.

She's another example of why I hope Bioware never again relies on stunt casting. She's a decent enough VA, but her quasi-celebrity status in geekdom led Bioware to create a character for her that was such a ridiculously over-the-top Mary Sue that Hawke was reduced to being her sidekick. Once it was revealed she was a Qunari spy, it would have been more in character for my Hawke to oppose her. Instead he had to go along with her scheme, because the Power of Felicia Day compelled him.
Please no. Never again!

I'd still take Tallis over Iron Bull. They're both similar (crisis of faith and whatnot), but her story and whole presentation isn't so juvenile.
I think I don't like Patrick Weekes much either.
