Still, if anyone is, by some chance, considering starting up a large, team-based project for Origins, a remote database server is a much more practical exercise with Linux as an OS option. You can get a VPS instance with sufficient grunt for $15 a year or less.

I have been trying to get the toolset on Linux for a long time. I believe I have a solution when I have the time but had a worry about the server. Your post just might be the answer.
