This is an off topic staple. I don't know what chance it has of getting off the ground in a small group like this, but I thought I'd try it anyway.

The idea is to give the above poster a new moniker that you think suits them.

So for example, I might dub Daveliam, "Sully Bear," or Sardaukar, "The Sardonic Sentinel."

Bonus points for elucidating on the reason behind the name you choose.

Saint. For having the patience to put up with people and not end up responding like a smartass or a dick.

"Streetwise," for your posting style, ability to strike to the heart of an issue quickly, and fondness for roguish characters.

I'll be honest: I was kinda hoping for a smartass response lol.

But Streetwise will do just fine.

Hmmm...smartassed nicknames for you. Oh, I've got it!

WyldeStallion. After Bill and Ted's band from B&T's Excellent Adventure.
Professor Bro. Looks like a bro, has a vocabulary of a scholar. :P

Sincere suggestion:

No Excuses. You don't take excuses from yourself. You keep pushing yourself as far as you can go. You don't let your losses give you an excuse to stop you from doing better, to being better than you were before. You just learn from it.

No fear, no excuses, no giving up. I can't say I know you well, but that's what I've seen. :)

I got a chuckle out this, nicely done

It's also a lot closer to the truth than I'd care to admit.

The Mysterious Nerd. Cause i'm always wondering everytime I see your posts why you chose an empty helmet as your avi and what it is supposed to mean, if there is a real and deep meaning behind it or if you were just having fun.

I like this idea, but I don't know enough about you guys to make an accurate suggestion. :(

its a reconstruction of the Sutton Hoo helmet, which is just something I think is pretty neat looking

I can't decide if this sounds more like a precarious sex position or a venereal disease, and I'm not sure which I like better in this context.

Sounds like a mix of both to me. A venereal disease often acquired from a peculiar sexual position.

I wish I knew everyone better, but choice in forum avatar is a decent enough way to go about it.

I've got a good one for Steelcan, at any rate. The Sutton Hoo helmet graced the cover of the first book in Bernard Cornwell's "Warlord Chronicles." It was one of my favorite books when I was young. I re-read them a couple few years ago, and they're still terrific. I'd recommend them to anyone who thinks a somewhat historically rigorous take on Arthurian romance sounds keen.

Spoiler

I therefore name him The Winter King.

HuldraDancer looks like someone who's been on the BSN too long. I don't know if that's a flask in their hand, but if so it would be fitting. BSNVet.

Vertigomez - has an evil clone beard, if you ask me. So, MirrorHawke?
