Yah, but that's spread out over the year. Doesn't feel like the same game, although it is the same game plus some extras.
Yes.
I will preorder the CE edition as soon as it's available.
The only CE edition that I was disappointed by was the WItcher 2, with the stupid bust of Geralt.
I can't remember the last time I bought a game on the release date. I'll probably just end up buying the game a year or two late when it's like 30$ or less. Always happens to me for some reason.
Depends on content and media coverage pre- and post release.
I'm willing to spend up to 200.00 USD. As long as the items are worth it to me, of course.
$70.. yep. Not a problem here with that.
All in all. Games have beat the rate of inflation quite a bit over the last couple decades. They managed this by drastically increasing the number of consumers. Now, its starting to catch up. As the number of gamers normalizes, games are going to be far more subject to the regular inflation mechanism.
I bought games in the late 80's for $40. Price hasn't even doubled yet, when it has doubled or tripled for every other product in existence. So no complaints here.
If it's a good game? Yeah. I probably have several hundred hours invested in the series so far.
I'll pay 90 dollars for the next ME with season pass if it's good, although I'm around 60% it will be a disappointment, so I'm trying not to keep my expectation too high and likely just gonna get it once the price drops.
I probably won't buy MEA at all, but games cost a lot less (in real dollars) than they used to.<<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>>

Doubt it very much, will prob get in the sales tbh
Is that an arbitrary price?
Yes
I would've paid $100 for ME1/2/3 for the amount of playthroughs I've done and still got my money's worth. The games have replay value. That is number 1 for me. I don't see that changing for Andromeda.
Probably. I've got my moneys' worth out of every Bioware game I've bought so far, but if it seems to actively be on fire or terrible when I make up my mind a week before release (as according to tradition), I might hold off on it.
I don't buy a ton of games, so I don't feel too bad plunking down the big bucks for my rare indulgence.
Assuming game prices are the same in Canada a year from now as they are currently I don't see a scenario where I don't fork over $90 at launch. Regardless of the overall quality of each game, I've enjoyed the ME setting most of all. Hopefully Andromeda improves on the original in that regard. I love me some Space.
Considering that the Aussie Origin/Steam stores always overcharge like crazy, I'm expecting Andromeda to cost at least US $80. But I'm gonna buy mine from Ebay, 3 times cheaper.

LOL,
You are a pushover
I talked to my cable provider, and my "normal" bill went from $265/mo
to $147/mo.
I know!!!!!!!
I can't help myself when it comes to gaming and electronics, I love shopping then! More so than with clothes and shoes lol
I like buying that too but seeing a big screen TV in a store or a game store in a mall just makes me light up like a little kid and I'm completely sold and broke... ![]()
This time only after some reviews and players reactions.
For a Mass Effect game, yes I will.
In my one-year-after replay account of ME3, I said that most probably, I won't return to the ME universe after ME3. Whether or not I'll buy MEA will depend on a few things. At this time, most likely I'll watch some LP videos including the ending before I make a decision. If there are other interesting games out there when MEA comes out, or if some books have captured my interest, I may not buy it at all. On the other hand, I'm still posting here and that means my interest hasn't waned to zero.
Yep.
I probably won't buy MEA at all, but games cost a lot less (in real dollars) than they used to.
People often make the mistake of measuring prices over time in nominal dollars, but that doesn't tell us anything useful.
Not just that, but they complain that games are trying to reach out to a broader audience. With lower real prices, even if games were made on the same budge they would need wider audiences just have the same margin.
I'm perfectly willing to pay full price if the reviews and user reviews suggest it is worth supporting on release.
However, if it is apparent early on that substantial chunks have been carved out so they can sell it back later as part of some hideous $50 season pass we really shouldn't condone these practices at any point - not even waiting a year for the goty.
But it's not so easy to wait for deals or goty editions if the multiplayer is great - you can't really wait a year otherwise you miss out on all the events and a year's worth of progress and bonding in the meantime; trust anyone who says having to start from scratch over a year after release really sucks when everyone you know is so much more geared and experienced to the extent that you'll never claw back that lost time and will be forever playing catch up which can really impact your experience, not to mention player-base shrinkage over that time.
I'd like to wait for reviews/fixes/patches before I buy it, but I know myself and I am 100% sure that I will preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition (or whatever name it will have) as soon as it will be available on Origin...
