Ha!  I would play with you just to listen to your accent.  Love the Irish!  Not on PC though. :(

We should definitely play, even if I don't use a mic - you can just imagine I'm Liam Neeson but can't find a phone to terrify the bejaysus out of ye!

Screw that, just go buy a headset.  Seriously...you're just trolling yourself by not playing with surround sound and even a mic.  We can be best friends and sing Irish folk songs and rage on PUGs calling them "gobshite" and tell them we are going to kick them in the clackers.  I'm not even kidding! I get a kick out of the Irish. I have zero doubt we could carry teams...could even make some progress on my noob account. (although I will have to burn you up in the reactor if you're a member of AHF since they gave me the cold shoulder when I asked them to do runs while I posted on BSN and leeched :P AHF is my enemy)

I only have/play the PS3 version though.

I actually have pretty good Turtle Beach PX5s, but my wi-fi makes them pop annoyingly or drop out briefly (though continuously) if I turn the mic on.  And when I'm on Xbox I have to regret putting the mic cable 'somewhere safe'.

I also tend to play in the wee small hours, so tempting though it is to swear creatively and get drunk and slag the Brits for everything, it really doesn't suit my domestic circumstances. I can't remember the last time someone got me in the reactor, though, seriously - and if that's not an open invitation challenge to you or anyone who reads it and runs into me, I don't know what is!

Sorry for derailing your thread OP, but you should have checked the sticky at the top of the page.  :)

Lame mic situation, but I absolutely accept your challenge.  Talking big like that, you can expect a glorious thread dedicated to your ashes after it happens.  It might not happen anytime soon.  Probably won't even try for a while, but its comin. Believe that.  No ops packs allowed.

When I get on tonight or tomorrow I will be sure to send you an invite.  Probably play my noob account for a while.  It's getting some decent stuff now so I will still be a big help.  No ultra rares or anything, but I got a few adepts.

I remember there used to be a separate sub forum for it, but they got rid of it and then we got the sticky, but if you can figure out how to get the lfg forum back I'd love to hear it

The reason no one used the subforum for it was because the MP forum was being used for it. It always had been, for over two years since the game came out. The subforum was created as part of the move to the new site. No one really saw the point to changing (or they just didn't know about it, it doesn't much matter) so they kept using the main forum, since it still worked.

That's actually what Bryan Johnson's quote was about. He was pointing out that everyone was still using the main MP forum for finding games.

I have a wireless 4 speaker Turtle Beach XP500 headset that works for all PS3, X-Box 360 and PC. With strong enough chat reception for crystal clear sounds from as far as the can for all platforms. One earpiece ring to rule them all. So I'm sorry, but I win the best thinking ahead consumer award. Better luck next time.

I've never seen his comment that way but that's interesting, never would've thought to interpret it that way

Mmm. So that / weezing / hissing noise was never a low quality mic then. ... (Thinking hard)...
You should have those lungs tested. Soon. On the double.

... North and south all over again. Thought it was only for the Irish born, or does
* mere proximity
* Drinking once at the Old Thatch
* Or knowing one passage from whiskey in the jar

Also suffice, nowadays?

Everything is fine and crystal clear on my end, and that's all that matters.

My lungs are now as good as new now too with having not had a cigarette since Nov. 5th after last call. Doesn't mean I don't wear a Darth Vader mask, though...

I can't say for sure right now.  I could hear that glorious accent one day.....but I have to say Grunt is feeling a lot more French than he does Irish to me.  The way hes dodging that invite.  I KNOW at some point I would get his ass in that reactor (unless he refuses to ever go in there at all)  Does anyone know if Grunt sits down when he pees?  I'm starting to suspect this may be the case. :o

No worry, Grunt's cool. If goes for him like for me, there are just weeks where there are too many things that diverts the attention, home repairs, changed budgets/timelines, long flights etc. ie the day has had enough exitement and one simply wants to mellow ( double whiplash- mea culpa) in the chill bin (and then run an normal plat or gold with the usual confused Pug lot) but not go totally cheap on oneself / mates by loading a Krogan Battlemaster/Reegar /AIU/GI.

Confession - The last time I touched a reegar was before christmas together with Arkhne. Weekends family gets priority anyway.  Anyway it's on days like these that one can simply play a shitty game, make some careless mistake, & still blame it unfairly on Pugs, Bioware, Sony, kick the dog, or some rice sack in Cambodja and let it be. L2P unplugged.

Oh yeah.  I was just playing around with him.  I can see from reading his posts and the posts that he "likes" that he has a great sense of humor (humour if you're Crimson).  He just stirred up my competitive side so I have to throw a few light jabs :).   Not lately, but I've seen him around a few times back in the day.  I just wasn't a member of this site.  I know hes a good player and it will be good times.

I'm no stalker or anything.  I'm sure he will get to it when he gets to it.  And then he will be burned in the reactor and blown up with nukes :)
