Guys it's all well and good to talk about what other games have done (e.g. TW3, FO4, DAI) when speculating about MEA, but can we remember to use spoiler tags or alerts?

I just had major plot points ruined for two games by reading posts on seemingly innocent topics. One was COD Ghosts, which I have zero intention of playing, but the other was FO4, which I plan to play in the near future.

I'm sure we can all appreciate how frustrating spoilers are, particularly when there is no warning.

While I can understand your request, a lot of people tend to do away with spoiler warnings when a game has been out for some time so while some might heed your request, others are less likely to do so.

True, and if we were talking about KOTOR or DAO then I probably wouldn't be so frustrated. But FO4 has been out less than 4 months. Not everyone finishes games within a few weeks of launch!

I completely agree with you. I haven't finished FO4 myself yet, so it's really frustrating and annoying to see all those people who can't stop spoiling it. This is not the forum for FO4, yet that game is being discussed in details like there's no tomorrow.

I won't even be playing FO4 until the GOTY edition comes out and also when Bethesda has fixed/finished the game.  I never saw the spoiler though

 

I preordered Skyrim.  I learned my lesson.

Well it's kinda hard cause there is no general rules. How old game is old enough to talk about without spoiling it? Some already see Fallout 4 as old game that they finished ages ago, some are probably still thinking of buying DAO ^^; But I feel you, I got spoiled quite heavily about FO4 before playing it myself.

I'll have you know... I got spoiled with this on another Youtube comments section too. I was watching a video about copy-right infringement. Srsly why, why tho?!

And this will be why I will go into media blackout mode when ME:A hits the stores.   I will avoid social media, not gonna risk myself getting trololol'd with spoilers cos I know it will happen/people just can't help themselves. I did it for DAI, stayed away until I finished the game and I'm thankful I stuck to that. You have no idea how much I hate getting spoiled, srsly, I hate it, really burns mah chowdah.

Meh that spoiler is really out there though.  Almost no one talks about how Chewie throws himself off of the cliff minutes after so he can rejoin Han though.  All they care about is Han and that little punk that looks like hes 12.
