Darth Vader is Luke's father.

What ???? You are kidding me, right??? O__O

On a more serious note... I know more than one person who have never seen Star Wars so far but plan to do it. Therefore don't take anything from granted when it comes to spoilers :D

Yup! I'm one of those people. I've never seen those star wars and star trek movies lol. I'm ashamed to admit it almost.... I did watch a star wars movie, a new version I think a few years ago but that's it, other than that I've never watched them :D

If you're on the internet a lot and you think you can avoid spoilers you're delusional. And asking people to be more careful regarding possible spoilers, when anything can be a possible spoiler just shows how entitled you kids are these days.

I absolutely do recommend it. It's a great saga with a lot of lore and pop culture influence. I personally enjoy it quite a lot, both the new one as well as the older classics. (Just keep in mind when you watch the older films that they are some what older and so lack some of the modern cinematography or cgi effects.) At the very least you'd understand and maybe enjoy a lot of the pop culture references and know what people are talking about.

If you got confused by my comment underneath the picture, it's kinda spoilery so I'm not gonna go into that if you haven't seen the movies.

I know I know!! I'm late to the party lol :D

I don't really expect it to be spoiler free. Those movies aren't exactly new or non famous. They are classic and extraordinary or something so of course it's to be expected that there are spoilers everywhere xD

I must admit I like people who have the common decency to start with SPOILER:

Previous spoilers notwithstanding... if and when you do tackle Star Wars, I recommend viewing them in the "Machete Order." Don't google it, because the explanation involves even more spoilers. But in short, watch the films in this order:

1 - Star Wars Ep IV: A New Hope

2 - Star Wars EP V: The Empire Strikes Back

3 - Star Wars Ep II: Attack of the Clones

4 - Star Wars Ep III: Revenge of the Sith

5 - Star Wars Ep VI: Return of the Jedi

And just skip episode 1, or go back later if you're really that interested. It's pretty bad.

I see your whiny girly complaining post and raise you a (Everyone is crying so I deleted it) in the end of the new star wars.

Meh that spoiler is really out there though.  Almost no one talks about how Chewie throws himself off of the cliff minutes after so he can rejoin Han though.  All they care about is Han and that little punk that looks like hes 12.

Spoiler

Han should've just kicked his punk ass off the bridge and be done with it. Or even better, something like this;
