Dragonscale.

Though, with high enough promotions, either one will work fine.

Unfortunately, Drakescale. Which is why you see it absolutely everywhere. Magic damage is the only real weakness it has. The defense effect is still present, but I guess because it's crafted tier, it's disabled. Probably how they "removed" effects from crafted gear in SP.

I considered replacing the Drakescale models with a variant of Inquisition armour just so I don't have to look at it anymore. Already modded every other armour up to the same level because I got tired of wearing it myself. Boring armour progression is boring.

I have replaced many of my agents' drakescale with the regular armors except for lego, avvar and silent sister.  I don't think their regular armor looks any better.

Personally, I think the drakescale is pretty ugly, so I mostly use the standard tier 3.  I never used it in single player either.  It looks like a terrible merge of a baroque gold ornament and cockroach to me.   That and everyone looks identical.

Still looks better than the arcane warrior armor though.

The difference in protection doesn't seem to be great enough for me to wear it otherwise.

Yeah, that is better.  I really like the elementalist inquisition warmage robes.. less like a moose rider or something.  But that does look good.  kinda looks even better in person, rather than that straight on legs apart shot.  More just like pants and boots.

Most of the Inquisition Armor looks good on the all of the characters. However I have yet to get the Drakescale one so I can't comment on if I would use it or not.
