I am planning ahead for my run at the Suicide Mission.  I still have to do Legion's mission, but assume that I have done that, I have all the team members and everyone is loyal.  I will do the mission immediately after Legion's loyalty mission.  I am looking for 100% survival of the teams, team members and crew.  I have the following pre-planned assignments:

 

1. Infiltrating the Collector's Base

1. Tech Specialist--Tali
2. Fireteam Leader--Miranda
3. Shepard’s team--

1. The Long Walk
   1. Biotic Specialist--Samara/Jack
   2. Escort--Mordin
   3. Team 1:  Shepard’s team--
   4. Team 2:  Leader--Jacob
2. The Final Battle
   1.  Assault Team
      1. Tali
      2. Miranda
   2. Defense Team
      1. Grunt
      2. Zaeed
      3. Garrus

 

What are some suggestions for Shepard's team members?

1. Tech Specialist-- Tali => I used Kasumi and she is just fine (but Tali is ok too)
2. Fireteam Leader--Miranda => yep
3. Shepard’s team-- => I played with Mordin and Garrus

   1. Biotic Specialist--Samara/Jack => both are fine, I always use Samara
   2. Escort--Mordin => yep
   3. Team 1:  Shepard’s team-- => I played with Kasumi and Garrus
   4. Team 2:  Leader--Jacob => you can, but I used Miranda again
2. The Final Battle => eur.............. can't remember,  I've done the final batle with Kasumi and Garrus and let the rest of the team at the door. I remember I picked Miranda all the time as the leader for the rest of the group.

You said you played an Adept on easy, right?

If so I'd advise to take Thane with you (good damage against organics, warp for warp-bombs and throw against husks).

 

But on that difficulty it doesn't really matter who you pick. Biotics in general are pretty useful

Mordin with his 4.5s cryo blast is also great. As is Kasumi with her grenades, that completely shutdown harbinger.

Yes.  I am a casual player.  I enjoy the story and I am just not that good at combat.  I also don't enjoy the one boss I can't get around to advance the game.

The way you have it setup, you should be fine. Since you didn't mention it. I'm guessing you have all 3 upgrades for the Normandy?

 

Depending on who I have loyal, depends on who does what for the mission for the playthrough I'm doing.

 

If I want everyone to survive, if I recruited everyone and all are loyal, I usually have

 

vent - Kasumi

1st/2nd fireteam leader - Jacob/Garrus

barrier - Samara

 escort - Mordin

fight the 3-eyed terminator - depends on who I feel like taking

during the vent section and barrier section, I take Miranda and Zaeed with me

 

everyone survives. easy

 

Of course there are many ways to have everyone survive without recruiting everyone and having everyone loyal

Thanks.  Yes I have all the ship upgrades and all my crew members are loyal except Legion, but I have locked in his loyalty mission and will be doing that shortly.

I finished the game and then did Arrival.  I didn't loose any crew-members.  It's on to ME3.
