I am officially jonesing for a Calpernia romance. She's such a compelling character - she's like Fenris's foil, where they were both in a similar situation and ended up coming to completely different conclusions. And I love her cute gap toof. And we never actually saw her die... and her WoT2 is deliberately vague as to her fate...

That would be neat! Oooh, especially if it were a Felassan-style ancient elf who opposed Solas's plan. HNNNNG SO COOL.

I would really like to have an elf companion who's entrenched in alienage culture. It's made such a big deal of in the lore, but none of our elven companions are really connected to it. Someone like Shianni, maybe? Brave and bold?


That would be a nice change of pace from all the dudes! Sten, Bull, the Arishok and aaaallll the male qunari from DA2.

Never really got the appeal with Calpernia until my most recent (and canon) playthrough. I spared her life and since then, I've been thinking I really wouldn't mind her as a companion and Li.

^That's precisely what happened to me! Her name came up every once in a while, but it wasn't until I met her in-game (and read her short story) that I decided I reeeaaally need more of this character in my life.

She's got such an interesting perspective. Somewhere between Dorian and Fenris, with a dose of bad-decision-Blackwall.

By no means likely, but I'd like to see them bring back Duke Otranto as a companion. He had a fun cameo in DA:I, and seemed like he could be an interesting character.

 

I'd have no interest in romancing him with my character, but if he were a companion I'd be surprised if he wasn't one of the LIs.
