Considering that most games that have kids in them as NPCs generally speaking the kids suck (there are exceptions of course) but I just don't see that working in ME:A maybe as a coda in a "whatever happened to Ryder and the LI type cutscene" MAYBE. But in the game while Ryder is saving the galaxy? No, thanks.
Now would I like to see kids running on the ARK ship or on various colonies? Yeah because that would make sense since having kids means the colony is trying to survive. But not everybody who comes to Andromeda Galaxy is probably not there just to have kids some people might have come to escape persecution from politics, religion, and so on some might be there for adventure, or to make money.
So let me say Ryder being a parent during the events of the game that I'm playing her/him. No, thanks. (If I want that I'll play Fable 2/3 or Skyrim with the Hearthfire DLC or just keep playing Fallout 4 since I'm done with the main quest and have my PC's son Sean back).
Ryder being a parent after the events of the game's story. Sure I don't have a problem with that.
Kids running around various colonies and appropriate spaceships. Again I don't have a problem with that in fact I want too see that.
