Thanks to Biotic for the name suggestion. :)

I was cautioned patience about creating a new thread for this, and while I think that advice was extremely wise, I still feel eager to get this thread re-established. It was serving so much as a general discussion thread, I don't want to lose that.

The new guideline is that we'll have to be careful not to name any names (which really, is a pretty wise policy in general).

My vent today is about how much I wish none of this had happened in the first place, and that the mods here would be more communicative and less trigger happy.

Agreed that whole thing left me very much in need of coffee and a good walk. I'm still getting a little annoyed seeing the locked thread which I know is probably silly to be annoyed by.

Minor vents for today since I had that 'murderer on the loose' scare last night I got a total of zero chores done, no mopping and no putting the salt in a filter and no laundry. I'm odd I prefer to do these things at night when the others go to bed, especially the mopping less feet tracking all over my clean floors that way.

I really hope this thread stays open and doesn't get locked at well a place to vent is a great idea and imo a pretty needed thread.

Yay! (I feel so appreciated ;) )

I have a vent about shadow accounts. It really undermines the entire ban system (since someone might start fights with a second account), and makes me feel like I'm talking to clones...

I wish they would have Members as Moderators. It works pretty well on the Bethesda forum, not sure why they don't do that here. Let the community pitch in and make it a better place for everyone. Idealistic, i know. Anyway i appreciate the new thread, and better ventilation.

This wouldn't be bad. But as we hardly see any mod (or dev) presence in threads, it's hard to know how much they observe, and therefore guess as to whom would fit their criteria for a Super User with Mod Powers.

Minor vent but it's been going on for over a week now. Whenever the dogs get fed they end up going in the house even if they've been outside all day even if they go out shortly after eating I will find something on the floor and I am to my breaking point with it to the point of thinking I"m no longer going to feed them if someone else wants to do it fine go ahead but I'm not dealing with them going on the floor every single day anymore.

Thanks, y'all. <3 I appreciate it. I'm gonna try not to worry about it too much, and start downsizing and packing my things just in case.

Yeah, it's hitting too close to home, I should probably leave it for now. It shouldn't hold such sway over me, but holy crap, is it upsetting.

<hugs to Gomez> Holy crap! Good luck hun, and I hope that doesn't turn out to be the case. Keep us posted.

I had my procedure done today. It wasn't too bad; I was out of there within two hours. I went to sleep, woke up, came fully to, and went home. My youngest dogs are being boarded, so I get to hang out with my old basset. :D

I have to wait for about another 10-14 days for the results, but I did get some preliminary results. I have what's called a hiatual hernia in my throat, about 2 cm in size. Basically that means that when I swallow normally when I'm not eating, the very top of my abdomen lift every so slightly into my throat. I've also got three lesions on the inside of my throat, and a couple of non-bleeding ulcers. I feel so damned old right now.

On the plus side, talking to a BSN'er on the phone last night still puts a smile on my face. ;)

Ugh.  I know.  Don't sweat it guys.  We have our venting thread back so we can just keep retreating back here to ****** about them (without using names!) behind their backs!  ;)

Stay strong boys!

What do they do in the Cassandra thread, out of curiosity?

Kept complaining and ranting about how Cassandra should be able to go against her faith just so he can romance her

Thanks so much! I'm trying to stay positive, haha.

My goodness! I hope you get to feeling better soon. The procedure was to remove the hernia, right?

Okay.  Honestly, I think I need a long break from the BSN.  Between that troll the other day and the nonsense happening in this other thread right now, I've had my fill of the boards for a while.  Adios.  I'll see you all in a bit.  I just need to focus on other stuff and this place is a little too hostile and toxic for my liking.

Stay strong, y'all!  ;)

Sorry to hear about that gomez really hope it doesn't come to that :(

Glad to hear your surgery went by without any hiccups Nat :)

Out of curiosity started looking through threads wondering what the rest of you are talking about, while I'm not sure if I looked int he right one I did have a 'the hell did I just read' moment.

Take care Dave. Hit me up with a PM when you're detoxified. :)

All I had today is tests for stomach conditions. My mom has several, and I've been in pain, so I checked it out. I've gotten the preliminary results back, but I won't know all the details for another 10-14 days. Usually this stuff is treated with meds, not surgery. Thank goodness.

@Huldra send me a PM so I can take a look, please. I'm still feelng a little icky and I could use the distraction.

@Ares Nice to see you. :)

I'm so sorry it's come to that, Dave. Remember that this quiet corner is a nice little refuge from the BS (N ) and come back and see us when you've put this whole... situation out of your mind. It's hard not to let it seep in sometimes. Give yourself as much time as you need. *big hugs*

Sorry to hear about that gomez really hope it doesn't come to that :(

Thank you, dear! So many lovely supportive people here. I'm grateful.
