All right, I'm curious now. What is this referring to?

As always, the sexuality thread. Carrying over the spirit of the Badass thread, some posts there are going for maximum stupid.

Concerning that Anders mod, I've heard about it and I kinda don't like it. Of course Anders should say something about his relationship with Karl with a female Hawke, but it should happen where the male version happens. And I preferred, when the "Sweetheart, I'm not letting anyone lock me up, you included." line didn't happen with a male Hawke. As I've said before, there were some differences between the romances and their tone, and I don't think copying Marian's options to Garrett's is an improvement. Also, that final kiss was a goodbye, Anders had no intention of surviving, so I didn't mind the lack of it in the friendship route, but that's just something I got used to, I guess.

Also, yay, somehow I've gotten a 1000 likes

Ah, Donk always said there are only five topics on BSN and they get repeated over and over and over....

This place always gives me such hope for humanity.

My blood is still boiling over some stupid BS I saw this morning. Y'all that saw my post this morning know what I'm talking about.

The post was gone by the time I read that thread, but it's not hard to guess, who was starting sh*t again. Some people should just mind their own f*cking business and stop telling others how to live their lives. But it's probably too much to ask from somebody, who genuinely believes racism is something exclusive to white people.

Regardless of whatever the issue is, I despise when people try to dictate to others how they should feel, think, act, be, etc, or make blanket judgements based on those things.

I'm dreading Tuesday morning. I have a feeling I'm about to get some very bad news.

As some of you know, I have three dogs. The oldest, a 12 yr basset/doxie mix named Zoidberg, reads like a very sad and scary checklist. She's lost interest in food and lost weight; she's got a huge lump on her neck next to her throat. She's more lethargic and has become a lot more irritable. The lump is pretty new. It sprung up on Zoi's neck and grew at an alarming rate in two weeks. I wasn't worried at first. She's had minor cysts and such her whole life, but this feels solid. Not a good sign.

Her appointment is on Tuesday morning to have that lump looked at and tested. I'm bracing myself, but I have that sinking feeling that my beloved basset has cancer. :(

This is terrible news!  I'm emotionally invested in Zoidberg and I've never even met her.  You must be a wreck.  I'm sorry, lady.  Truly.

Thanks hun. <hug> Nothing is confirmed yet, but it isn't looking good. I'm not a wreck, not yet. I'm in "Emergency Mode." There will be time to panic and get upset later. For now, I'm as prepared as I can be at the moment. Not much else we can do other than see what the vet says. If it's the worst case, then we'll make Zoi comfy and happy for as long as we can. She's already outlived the average age of a basset, which is 8-10 years.

This is the same dog that, as a puppy, accidentally "broke" her buddy the praying mantis. She shot us the saddest look, like "Please fix my friend." She kept looking for it for about another week too. She's never been a hopper/bug hunter and is a gentle soul. We'll have sweet dogs and good dogs, but probably none as truly gentle as my Monster.

Thank goodness for this thread and folks to vent to about this. I'll see if Sasquatch could send me the link to his picture of Zoi from a couple of years ago.

Sorry to hear about your dog Natashina. Hopefully it just turns out to be something benign and easily treatable.

Thank you Han. <hugs again>

Sasquatch and I are hoping that it's something that can be drained. The location of the tumor bothers me, but if it can be drained so much the better. Expect the worst, hope for the best.

*For those that are new, Sasquatch is the RL nickname for my husband.

I'm sad to hear that :( Old dogs have all kinds of lumps so hopefully it's just false alarm, but it's worrying for sure.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I appreciate it. :)

In less depressing news, it's snowed about 20" in the last 24 hours. This storm isn't supposed to leave for another 12-24 hours. It took 20 minutes for Sasquatch to park his pickup. He's got a crew cab, 4 Wheel drive, ect. This storm started off as rain, so it's now very slick out. We're getting a fire going and we're not leaving for the weekend.

I'm sorry to hear this, I hope that it isn't as serious as feared and is treatable. I have such a weakness for Basset's. We lost one of our puppies last year, he was 11 1/2 years old but still a puppy to me.

Well, David Gaider wouldn't have an issue with it. After all he has Cassandra bring up her past lover while she and the Inquisitor are spooning after they just had sex.

Yeah, nothing really sets the post-coital mood like hearing all about the only other man who's ever been betwixt her nethers. Here were thinking we just rocked her world and instead she chooses that moment to reminisce about a bloke she boinked briefly 20 years ago!

Then again, Isabela decided to use the time getting her kit back on to tell Hawke a similar tale, of how her husband never hit her, until he was taken out in a hit, so she thanked Zev by letting him hit that...

Seriously, what is up with Dragon Age and recounting past lovers in the afterglow?

I'm finally genuinely sick of the general forum to the point of severe boredom with it. I mean, I've been sick of it before, but usually that's just, "Oh, this place is so terrible sometimes.--type, type, type."

Now, it's just, "ugh, this place."
