I never thought I would have to stay away from an Asari thread. *sigh*

 

I was late to the EA play stuff, only checked out the footage from a few youtubers last night. Logged on the BSN today to see people's thoughts. Asari the new Liara thread was the first I looked at, some of the responses, didn't surprise me at all. BSN is mean friend.

Weirdest thing on my way home from work a few minutes ago. I live in the ass end of nowhere so it's a loooong drive home, and as I got closer to my house I saw that at least 1/3 of the houses had a bunch of furniture in their driveway. Like, not "let's put the TV with the broken screen on the curb, honey" but TONS of furniture... wat. Felt like I stepped into the Twlight Zone. It's not trash day. Is everyone moving at once?

Trainwrecks can be very interesting at 1am to 3am (it's about 20 til 2am for me now.) Folks get tired or drunk and it's almost mesmerizing to watch. It's actually quieter now that it was for a lot of this week. Of course, the weekend is just getting started.

Strangely, or not so, I've always been surprised I don't attract more hate mail. Or any, really. Despite the number of people I'm openly in contempt of and vice-versa, I haven't been bothered or harassed by PMs or such.

That's because frankly, you're one of the most articulate posters on the entire forums. Anyone coming up against your brains and wit would be like a one legged man in a sack race. I'm not blowing smoke up your keister, it's just the truth.

In general: I've read a lot of things on the BSN this week that have invoked negative emotions in me. Anger, frustration, irritation and others. I just caught upon the Gaylien thread and it's one of the few times the BSN has left me depressed. That and the post that was recently made in the Outline thread.

I'm glad it's the weekend so I can spend time with my husband. I'm going to lurk and get ready to write the open letter, but I think this place might be getting to me.
